Overview
Police have identified the deceased as Prachiket Bhagwan Kale (32). Kale and his friends had gone to the Dhak Bhairi caves on Sunday. They stayed back in the caves during the night and at around 7 am on Monday, they started coming down the steep slope. Kale slipped and fell into the valley.

Rescue ढाक – प्रतीक आवळे ह्या ट्रेकर चा मृत्यू
“ढाक बहिरी” हा कर्जत व मावळ तालुक्याला लागलेला सुळका त्यावर शनिवारी,दिनांक:5/2/2022 रोजी सकाळी 5 जण प्रतीक आवळे, पंकज गावदाडे, सुजित लहाने, अभिशेक शेजुळ, सागर जैस्वाल औरंगाबाद हुन हे 5 जण ट्रेक साठी गेले होते. त्यातील प्रतीक आवळे ह्याचा तोल खाली जाऊन त्याचा मृत्यू झाला.
शनिवारी, दिनांक:5/2/2022 ही घटना दुपारी 3.30 च्या सुमारास घडली. तुषार महाडिक व भारत रायकर हे ट्रेकर्स यांनी हे पाहता मयत प्रतीक आवळे व 4 जण याना व्यवस्थित जागेवर घेतले.
सादर rescue चा कॉल येताच संतोष दगडे व टीम कर्जत व स्थानिक गावकरी लगेच पोहोचले . तसेच यशवंती हायकर्स खोपोली ची टीम साहित्यासह ढाक च्या डोंगरावर पोहोचले.
साधारणतः सायंकाळी 6.30 वाजल्यापासून मयत प्रतीक व त्याचे सहकारी याना कर्जत मधील सांडशी गावाच्या वाटेने खाली आणण्याचे प्रयत्न चालू झाले.
काळोख आणि पायवाट तसेच डोंगर उतार व कड्याच्या बाजूची अरुंद जागा यातून सर्व ट्रेकर्स टीम व गावकरी यांनी मयत प्रतीक व इतर 4 मित्रांना खाली सांडशी गावात रात्री 3.30 वाजता पोहोचवले व तिथून कर्जत ला पोहोचवण्यात आले.

* Rescue cover – Prateek Awale, a trekker dies *
“Dhak Bahiri” is a cone in Karjat and Maval talukas. On Saturday, 5/2/2022 in the morning 5 people went for the trek. He lost his balance and died.
Saturday, Date: 5/2/2022 The incident took place around 3.30 pm. Trekkers Tushar Mahadik and Bharat Raikar saw this and took the deceased Prateek Awale and 4 others to a proper place.
As soon as the rescue call came, Santosh Dagde and team reached Karjat and local villagers immediately. Also, the team of Yashwanti Hikers Khopoli reached Dhak hill with literature.
At around 6.30 pm, efforts were made to bring Mayat Prateek and his accomplices down the road to Sandashi village in Karjat.
Through the darkness and footpaths as well as the narrow slopes and sidewalks, all the trekkers team and villagers took Mayat Pratik and 4 other friends down to Sandashi village at 3.30 pm and from there to Karjat.
