  • Description: Akole taluka is located in Ahmednagar district. Akole taluka, located in the western part of Ahmednagar district, is surrounded by the main range of Sahyadri. Many remote hill forts are situated in these mountain ranges. Katrabai peak in Maharashtra has a height of 1,408 meters (approximately 4,619 feet). It is a prominent peak in the Sahyadri mountain range, known for its rocky outcrop and being part of the Rajangad-Bhairavgad trail.

  • Description: A lovely village and hill with cool climate around the year near Vishal Gad fort. Start of over MUCHKUNDI which blows a crystal white water. A challenging and adventurous trekking point for nature lovers and trekkers. Its a moderate trek of 5 hours for beginners and 8-9 hours for the trekkers. The fort of Vishalgad in Kolhapur is well separated from Vishalgad fort and the main Sahyadri range by a narrow gorge. Crowned with a level plateau it has been used as a hill station for over a 1,000 years. It is an amazing trekking spot. The fort of Vishalgad is also well suited for a tourist destination. Clear and clean airy atmosphere, availability of sufficient potable water, availability of hot food and excellent trek routes including treks of varying degrees of difficulty. Vishalgad is directly compared with Mahabaleshwar and Matheran, very famous hill stations in Maharashtra.

  • Description: Matheran is one of the smallest hill stations in India. Located at an elevation of 2625 feet above sea level. It is located in Raigad Municipality, India. Matheran is the only to both vehicles for transportation or motor free railway. Matheran means forest on the forehead of the mountains is an eco-sensitive region. It is Asia’s only automobile-free hill station. One Tree Hill Point is famous in Math1eran as it has one tree growing only on top of the hill. Matheran is famous for its picturesque views and trekking trails. Matheran has an old-world charm to it where time has stood still. Matheran jungle trek was discovered by Hugh Malet in 1850.

    • Description: ‘Nakhind’ has a natural rock peak with a cavity in it at the top which is called ‘Nedhe’ or ‘Nosehole,’ formed by natural erosion. Why is it called as Nakhind? Cause this hill has seems itself like a Human Nose. Nakhind is famous for its gentle climb and delightful trek route. The fort is a narrow elongated ridge, running in the north-south direction. From one side of Nakhind we can see Chanderi Pinnacle. This gentle hill is excellent for relaxed, easy walks and nature lovers.

In spite of severe injuries, Veer Baji Prabhu kept fighting off the Adil Shahi horders, waiting for the cannon fire signal from Vishalgad, that the king had reached Vishalgad fort.     • Description: Tailbaila, Waghjai Ghat, and Sawasni Ghat are all located in the Sudhagad region of Maharashtra, India. Waghjai Ghat is known for its beautiful waterfalls. The old trade route between Tailbaila and Sawasni offer routes down from the Tailbaila plateau. These routes are known for being steep and challenging, particularly Waghjai Ghat, which leads to Thanale Caves.
