### Because of its diverse habitat, Saatpool is home to a mix of wetland and forest birds. Some of the notable species that can be seen include:

- ### **Water Birds and Waders:** Northern Shoveler, Common Teal, Garganey, Spot-billed Ducks, Lesser Whistling Ducks, Black-tailed Godwit, sandpipers, Little Stints, Grey-headed Swamphens, Watercock, and Common Moorhens.
- ### **Forest and Woodland Birds:** Yellow-footed Green Pigeon, Yellow-crowned Woodpecker, Plum-headed Parakeets, Grey-bellied Cuckoo, Pied Cuckoo, and Spotted Owlets.
