- **Monsoon (June to September):** This is the most popular time to visit. The surrounding landscape is lush green with numerous waterfalls, creating a picturesque and misty environment. However, the trail can be slippery, and the rock-cut steps require extra caution.
- **Winter (November to February):** This is also an excellent time for the trek. The weather is cool and pleasant, offering clear views of the surrounding forts like Bhimashankar, Malanggad, and Matheran.

कर्जत रेल्वे स्टेशन वरून कशेळेमार्गे जाणारी आंबिवले बस घ्यावी, किंवा कर्जत- आंबिवली या मार्गावर खाजगी सहा आसनी रिक्षा धावतात. हे अंतर साधारण ३० किमी आहे. आंबिवले गावातून ट्रेक ला सुरवात होते, आंबिवले गावामधून पेठ ( गडाच्या खालील गाव ) गावाची ची वाट धरावी ( ४-५ किमी ) पेठ गावामधून किल्ल्याच्या ट्रेक ची सुरवात होते
