Ganesh Geedh of Della Adventure in Lonavala was called in as the young man’s condition was critical and required a bucket stretcher and careful handling was in order. Ganesh Geedh immediately left to reach the spot of the incident as instructed and decided to start the next operation in the morning without taking any risk during the night.
Kapil Kasbe was teary-eyed as he thanked Ganesh Geedh and his colleagues, members of Jivarshak Dal Shahapur, local villagers, police force, forest personnel and revenue officials who sacrificed their lives to bring him to safety.

A Panvel resident who works for BMC, Kapil Kasbe (37), was rescued from a valley around Mahuli fort, Asangaon, Thane, 31 hours after he had slipped. Kasbe was studying the fort area history by staying there for over a month.
