Duration: 4 days
Course Structure: The course is divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with a mix of theoretical and practical training.
Topics Covered: Rock climbing, rappelling, jumaring, map reading, first aid, camping, backpacking, rope knots, and equipment handling.
Instructors: Highly qualified instructors from GGIM, including Dr. Sumit Mandale, Krishna Dhokle, Dinesh Kotkar, Jay Kolhatkar, Lokesh Shinde, and Aishwarya Ghare.
Practical Training: Students will have hands-on experience with rock climbing, rappelling, and jumaring on different routes set up during the course.
Assessment: A viva and written test will be conducted on Day 4 to evaluate students’ understanding and skills. Those who secure an “A” grade will be eligible for GGIM’s Advance Rock Climbing Course.
Certificate and Badge: Participants will receive a certificate and badge upon completing the course.

This certificate course is beneficial to not only the rock climbing enthusiasts but for all those who wish to do safe and enjoyable trekking. Giripremi’s highly experienced rock climbers and instructors conduct this course. The syllabus of the course is designed scientifically and systematically in such a way that those who complete this course can explore possibilities in the field of mountaineering and rock climbing.

Eligibility:

• Age – 16 years to 50 years

• Interest in learning rock climbing and basics of mountaineering.

• Medically and physically fit to undergo the course

• Practice of Hiking with a daypack on a trail for 2-3 hours is recommended

Course Fees: ₹7,800/-
