DESCRIPTION:Outdoor Ventures presents Trip to Varanasi Bodhgaya Prayagraj and Ayodhya (6N/7D). This tour covers important religious spots of Hindus and Buddhists. This tour gives a glimpse of the culture\, heritage and religion of the country. \nJourney Covered:Varanasi – Sarnath – Bodh Gaya – Ayodhya – PrayagrajDates : 10 to 16 Nov 2023 \nDay 1 : Arrival – Varanasi Sightseeing–The tour starts with pickup from airport or railway station and escort you to the pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day until evening is free. You can take up leisure walks or shopping around the hotel. By sunset\, you will be taken to Dashashwamedh Ghat to enjoy Ganga Aarti. Ganga Aarti takes place every evening along the banks of the river. It is a ritual filled with interesting activities done to please River Ganges and God of Fire. If you were a photo-enthusiast\, you would love this ritual. The ghat will generally be crowded and you can choose to hire a boat and watch the ritual from the river. \nNight stay in Varanasi. \nDay 2 :Varanasi – Sarnath – Varanasi–Before breakfast\, you will be taken on a boat ride on the river Ganges to enjoy the rising sun\, rituals along the side of the river and the ghats. There are 88 ghats in Varanasi and each one is famous for one element. It is not possible to cruise along all the 88 ghats. The cruise will cover all top ghats. Once you land on the shore\, you will be taken on a temple tour. Early morning is the right time to visit temples as it is the time of rituals. Top temples chosen are Kashi Vishwanath temple\, SankatMochan Hanuman temple\, Bharat Mata temple\, Annapurna temple\, BHU and ManasMandir. After the temple tour\, you will be escorted to the hotel for breakfast and rest. \nBy early afternoon\, you will be taken on a road trip to Sarnath. Sarnath is just 15 km away from Varanasi. You will reach Saranth in just 30 minutes. You will be taken on a trip that covers main Buddha temples\, Chaukhandi stupa\, Dhamekha stupa\, museum and others. The museum contains Aartifacts\, statues\, arts and others \nYou will be taken back to Varanasi by evening and the rest of the day is yours. You can take up shopping in Varanasi or go for sightseeing on your own. Top items to buy in Varanasi are deity statues\, brass works\, Banaras silk material\, incense items and others. \nOvernight stay in Varanasi. \nDay 3 :Varanasi – Bodh Gaya–After breakfast\, you will be taken on a trip to Bodhgaya\, which is 300 km away from Varanasi. It is 6 hours away from the city and the morning will be spend in travel. You will be escorted to a pre-booked hotel in Bodhgaya. After lunch\, you will be taken to important attractions like Buddha Statue\, Buddha temple\, Bodhi tree and others. Apart from Buddhist pilgrim spots\, you will also visit Janki temple\, Ram Chura\, HaleshwarAsthan\, SitaKund and others. \nOvernight stay in Bodhgaya. \nDay 4 :Bodh Gaya – Varanasi–After breakfast\, you will be taken to Gaya\, which is 12 km away from Bodhgaya. Sightseeing starts immediately and top spots visited are Vishnupad and Vishnu temples. It is believed that Lord Vishnu’s footprint is found inside the temple. After lunch\, you will be visiting Tibetan temples\, Japanese temple\, Phalguna River\, Chinese temple and others. By early evening\, a road trip to Varanasi starts. It will be night when you reach Varanasi and the representative will escort you to a pre-booked hotel in Varanasi. \nOvernight stay in Varanasi. \nDay 5 :Varanasi – Ayodhya–After breakfast\, you will take up a five-hour trip to reach Ayodhya. Ayodhya is the place\, which was ruled by Lord Ram\, according to legends. Lord Ram was born here and he spent a part of his childhood here. The Ayodhya city is an important pilgrim spot. Gogra River runs along the city and it is said that bathing in the river will wash out even the deadliest sin. Although an important part of Hindu religion\, the city had many other religions spreading in it\, simultaneously like Jainism\, Buddhism and others. According to Jains\, the first Tirthankara was born here. You will be taken to the birthplace of Lord Ram and to SaryuRiver for bathing and sightseeing. \nOvernight stay in Ayodhya. \nDay 6 :Ayodhya – Prayagraj – Varanasi–After breakfast in the hotel\, you will take up a road trip to Prayagraj. Prayagraj lies 200 km away from Ayodhya and it takes 4 hours to reach. Once you reach Prayagraj\, you will be escorted to a pre-booked hotel. After lunch\, the sightseeing starts. Top spots visited are Sangam\, Hanuman temple\, Swaraj Bhawan\, Anand Bhavan and others. Sangam is the spot where River Saraswati\, Yamuna and Ganga join. The spot is a wide flood plain where you can find people performing rituals. If desired\, you can bath in Sangam. \nOvernight stay in Prayagraj. \nDay 7 :Departure–After breakfast\, the rest of the morning is free for leisure sightseeing or souvenir shopping.
