It is one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India. While you have probably seen many rivers making beautiful leaps down a cliff or steep slope\, nothing compares to Nohkalikai Falls. The enticing beauty of the falls\, as well as its verdant surroundings\, makes it a must-visit. Later enjoy spectacular View of The Seven sisters water falls. It is also known as Nohsngithiang Falls\, lies in Cherrapunji in the East Khasi Hills district. The seven segments of the waterfalls symbolize the seven sister states in the northeast\, namely Assam\, Arunachal Pradesh\, Manipur\, Nagaland\, Tripura\, Mizoram\, and Meghalaya. Proceed further to visit Mawsmai Cave\, the cave is also famous for its fossils. The viewpoint is on either side of the falls so you can see its natural splendour from up close behind the safety of a railing. From wandering cows to rare birds\, there are many surprises in store as you find your way along the gentle grassy rises and dips\, punctuated by little hills and streams. Later visit famous Wei Sawdong Falls\, which is a three-tiered waterfall. When you get its first aerial view\, you will be startled for a moment to see its pure blue colour\, form and tranquility. All you can hear in this area is the sound of the water falling down from the 3 levels. Proceed further to enjoy panoramic view point of Laitsohpliah waterfall followed by Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point. Enroot visit Mawlynoong village famous for its matrilineal society as well as having been dubbed Asia’s cleanest village. Later visit a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock.
