चौल्हेर आणि किल्ले भिलाई… \nकिल्ले चौल्हेर हा चौरगड उर्फ तिळवणचा किल्ला अथवा चाल्हेरीचा किल्ला य़ा नावाने देखील ओळखला जातो. किल्ले चौल्हेर हा साल्हेरचा जुळा भाऊ आहे. चौल्हेरचा आकार हा साधारणपणे साल्हेरशी साधर्म्य दाखविणारा आहे. चौल्हेर किल्ल्याच्या प्रवेशव्दारांची रचना पाहाण्यासारखी आहे. \nचौल्हेर गडाच्या शेजारील हे डोंगर\, तेथील एका डोंगराचे नाव नडग धाम असे होते…नडग म्हणजे अस्वल. अस्वल हा एकमेव प्राणी आहे की ज्याला ताजे अन्न लागते तो त्याच्या गुहेत ८ महीने पुरेल इतके अन्न साठवून ठेवतो. याचाच अर्थ असा कि या भागात अशा साठवणुकीच्या गुहा नक्कीच असतील. ज्यांचा उपयोग किल्ल्यासाठी अटीतटीच्या प्रसंगात धान्य साठवणुकीसाठी होत असणार..नडग धाम शेजारील डोंगराला झावराळ्या असे नाव होते. झावराळे म्हणजे केसाळ…म्हणजे पुन्हा अस्वलाशी संबधित. झावराळ्या शेजारील डोंगराला जांबवंत्या नाव होते. पुन्हा अस्वलाशी संबधित…त्या शेजारील डोंगराला देर भावजय असे नाव…त्या पौराणिक लोककथेत सुद्धा अस्वलाचे महत्व येते आणि महत्वाचे म्हणजे या जंगलाचे नाव गव्हाळी…गव्हाळीचा अर्थ…मुबलक पाण्याची जागा..पण एका स्थानिक वृद्ध स्त्री ने सांगितले कि ते गव्हाळी नाही गौहाळी आहे आणि त्याचा अर्थ भरपुर गुहा असा आहे. नडग धाम गुहा.. एकदम मोठी.. आणि अद्भुत गुहा. ती डायरेक्ट जायबारी येथे निघते. म्हणजे रस्त्याच्या मार्गाने गेलो तर १२ कि.मी अंतर आहे. आणि गुहेतुन ते अंतर फक्त १०३ मीटर आहे…केव्हढे आपले पुर्वज हुशार होते की त्यांनी हा चोर रस्ता बनवून ठेवला. \nतर चला मग “मोहीम किल्ले चौल्हेर – भिलाई आणि गव्हाळी गुहा” गडसेवक रोहित जाधव यांच्यासोबत… \nकार्यक्रमाचा तपशील :-शुक्रवार २७ डिसेंबर २०२४ रोजी रात्री खाजगी बसने प्रभादेवी मुंबईहून वाडी चौल्हेर गावाकडे प्रस्थान. शनिवारी सकाळी अंदाजे ५ वाजेपर्यंत गावात आगमन. फ्रेश होऊन सकाळी ६ वाजता गड चढाईला सुरुवात. गडसेवक रोहित जाधव यांच्यासोबत गडाची आणि परिसराची माहिती घेत २-२.३० तासात गड माथ्यावर पोहोचून घरून आणलेला नाश्ता करणे. गड फिरून अंदाजे ११.३० पर्यंत खाली उतरणे. तेथून बसने तिळवण गावात पोहोचून दुपारच्या जेवणाकरता पॅक लंच घेऊन गव्हाळी गुहेकडे प्रस्थान. २ वाजेपर्यंत गुहेच्या तोंडावर पोहोचून जेवण. सर्व गुहा फिरून झाल्यावर संध्याकाळी ७ वाजेपर्यंत तिळवण गावात मुक्काम. \nरविवारी सकाळी नाश्ता करून दुपारच्या जेवणाकरता पॅक लंच घेऊन किल्ले भिलाई कडे प्रस्थान. गड फिरून दुपारचे जेवण. अंदाजे ३ वाजता मुंबईच्या दिशेने रवाना. \nट्रेक फी : संपूर्ण खर्च रुपये १\,३००/- (रुपये एक हजार तीनशे फक्त) प्रती व्यक्ती (मुंबई ते मुंबई प्रवास\, चहा\, जेवण\, राहणे अंतर्भूत). \n२८ डिसेंबर २०२४ चा सकाळचा नाश्ता आपण स्वतः आणायचा आहे. \nमोहिमेत सदस्य संख्या ४० इतकीच मर्यादित असल्याने लवकरात डिसेंबर २०२४ नंतर ट्रेक फी : रुपये १\,४००/- (रुपये एक हजार चारशे फक्त) असेल. \nट्रेकसाठी आवश्यक साहित्य :-१) दोन्ही खांद्यावर घेता येईल अशी सॅक. सामान कमीतकमी आणावे. गरज असल्यास चालताना काठी.२) चांगल्या प्रतीचे बूट\, मोजे\, एक्स्ट्रा चप्पल\, नीकॅप\, रेनकोट\, जरुरी पुरते कपडे.३) पाण्याची २ लिटर बाटली. पॅक लंचसाठी डब्बे.४) स्वतः पुरता सुका खाऊ जवळ बाळगणे कारण दुपारचे जेवण गडावरून खाली आल्यावर होणार आहे.५) व्यक्तिगत औषधे जवळ बाळगावीत\, Zole-F Ointment व इलेक्ट्रॉल पाकीट अति आवश्यक.६) वरील सर्व सामान छोट्या प्लास्टिक पिशव्यांमध्ये भरून त्या एका मोठ्या प्लास्टिक पिशवीत भरा जेणेकरून पावसात सॅकच्या आतील कपडे सुके राहतील. \nनियम :-१) ट्रेक फी भरल्यानंतर बँकेत फी भरल्याची पावती न विसरता WhatsApp करावी. स्वतःचे नाव\, व्यवसाय\, मोबाईल\, रक्तगट\, पूर्ण पत्ता\, घरातील एकाचा मोबाईल आणि Sandhan valley trek and Camping is known Wonder of nature & splendid of Sahyadri (Western Ghats). Water carved valley of 200 ft deep and about 1.5 Km long. Sandhan valley is located on the west side of beautiful Bhandardara region\, near Samrad village. Valley surrounded with mighty Alang अलंग\, Madan मदन & Kulang कुलंग (Known as AMK- a toughest trek in Sahyadri) Ratangad रतनगड\, Ajoba आजोबागड & Kalsubai कळसूबाई शिखर (5400 ft. highest peak in Maharashtra) mountain ranges. Brilliant & deep narrow rock floored ravine between the two high walls of the mountain range. At some places\, its width is less than 3 ft so that at some places sun rays unable to reach. So it’s called the valley of shadow. it is accessible throughout the year except for monsoon. To go the end side of gorge you have cross 2-3 water pools\, water level changes according to seasons\, in winter it is up to waist & in summer it is up to knee height. At the end of the valley\, you get a magnificent view of high cliffs & deep valley.The Sandhan valley trek incorporates a rappelling experience and freehold rock climbing and descending\, which cannot be undertaken by a group of rookies or individual trekkers.
