SUMMARY:Dudhsagar & Tamdi Surla Waterfall :Two Gems Of Goa (Batch 2)) - 18 August 2023
DESCRIPTION:Dudhsagar Waterfall And Tamdi Surla Waterfall are two gems of Goa. those are the must visit places for trekkers\, adventure seekers and nature lovers. \nThe name ‘Dudhsagar’ literally translates to ‘sea of milk’ which many believe is an allusion to the white spray and foam that the great waterfall creates as it cascades into the waters of the lake. The falls are at their zenith during the monsoon season\, although they are a popular attraction all year round.Dudhsagar Falls is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the Indian state of Goa. It is 60 km from Panaji by road and is located on the Madgaon-Belgaum rail route. Dudhsagar Falls is amongst India’s tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m(1017 feet) and an average width of 30 metres (100 feet) .The falls is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park amongst the Western ghats. The waterfall forms the border between Karnataka and Goa states. The area is surrounded by a deciduous forests with a rich bio diversity. The falls are not particularly spectacular during the dry season but during the monsoon season however\, the falls are fed by rains and form a huge force of water. \nTambdi Surla Waterfalls is Located inside the Bhagwan Mahavir National Park\, It is a 12th century Shaivaite temple of Lord Mahadev. Due to its remote location\, people often miss the opportunity to visit the temple. But a trip to Goa is incomplete without a visit to this ancient Tambdi Surla temple which is a treat to eyes because of its unique style of construction. SUMMARY:One Day trek to Chanderi - 20 August 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Badlapur mountain range may be seen to the right of the Mumbai-Pune railway as it travels from Kalyan to Karjat. Within this mountain range are the summits of the Nakhind\, Chanderi\, Mhaismal\, Navari\, Boyi\, Peb\, and Matheran. We can see a massive cone towering over in this hill range; this is the “Chanderi” fort. Between Badlapur and Wangani station\, there is a settlement called Goregaon on the Badlapur-Karjat route. The trek starts at this village. The history about this fort is not much known. Some fortification remains are the only sign of grandiose history now. There is a water cistern which has potable water. Ahead of the cistern\, a cave houses a Shivalinga. We would be trekking till this cave. \n#FactFileOdyssey Type: One day\,Difficulty Level: MediumEndurance Level: MediumRoute: Pune – PCMC – Lonavala – Karjat – Badlapur – Tamsai Distance From Pune: 140 KmsRegion: Kalyan – Murbad \nItinerary0530 Reporting at Rajaram Bridge0600 Departure0730 Breakfast on the way1030 Arrival at the base & Start the trek1200 Reach top and Explore the fort1230 start descending 1400 Lunch 1530 Departure towards Pune. 1800 Tea Break2030 Arrival at Pune#RegistrationStep 1: Contact Call us on +91 9764384221 for seat availability.Step 2: Payment You have for options to pay us: (a) Online Transfer\, (b) UPI\, (c) PayTM/ GooglePe\, (d) Cheque.Step 3: Fill the Enrolment Form Once transaction is complete\, please fill the Enrolment formStep 4: Confirmation You will receive communication (Email/ Text/ WhatsApp) from us regarding your booking details and additional information regarding the trip.Online Transfer:Bank Name: HDFC BankBranch: Hingne KhurdIFSC / RTGS: HDFC0000825A/C Name: Zenith OdysseysA/C Type: Current AccountA/c Number: 50200005722253UPI Address: ZenithOdysseys@HDFCBankPayTM / GooglePe: +91 97643 84221Cheque: can be drawn in favour of Zenith Odysseys** Participation to activity is subject to realization of cheque.#ThingstoCarryCompulsory1) Water 2 Liters or more2) Good Rucksack with rain cover3) Personal Medicines if any4) ID ProofSuggested1) Dry foods like: Chikki\, Chocolates and cakes etc.2) Extra Pair of clothes & sleepers/ floaters3) Rain protection / wind cheater/ cap / scarf as per the weather.4) Hand Towel5) Sunscreen lotion / face wash6) Camera or Binoculars#ChargesRs. 1299 per personInclusions1) Travel by a private non-AC bus.2) Breakfast\, Lunch and High Tea3) Adventure Experts & Leaders4) First aid kit.5) Safety & Tested Equipment6) Government Service Tax7) Personal Entry\, Toll & Parking etcExclusions1) Personal orders of Tea\, coffee\, Cold Drinks\, Mineral Water\, Breakfast\, Lunch\, Dinner\, etc.2) Personal expenditure of any kind.3) Insurance Coverage.4) Medical expenses other than “First aid”.5) Any other charges not specifically mentioned in “Fee Includes” \nfacebook.com/events/207426222291763/
