SUMMARY:Kille Koraigad - 26 July 2025
DESCRIPTION:About KoraigadKorigad Fort is located about 20 Km away from Lonavla\, in the Pune district. It is about 929 m above sea level. There are two routes to reach the top of Korigad\, one from the village PethShahpur and the other one from Ambavne village. Situated at an elevation of about 3000 feet from sea level\, the Koraigad fort was named after the goddess Koraidevi. Koraidevi Temple has been recently renovated and has a 3 feet high Deepmala. \nHistoryThis fort was forcibly taken over into his kingdom by Chhatrapati Shivaji along with the forts of Lohagad\, Visapur\, Tung\, and Tikona in 1657. On March 11\, 1818\, Colonel Prother tried to take over this fort but even after a prolonged siege could not make any headway. Finally on 14 March\, by igniting the stored ammunition by means of a loose cannonball he succeeded and this fort went to the British. \nTrek InformationType: Hill FortHeight: 3000 Feet above MSL (Approx)Grade: Easy ( 1hr Ascend)Base Village: Peth ShahapurEndurance Level: LowPrice Per Pax: Rs 1499 \nHighlightsEasy Trek For KidsIntact Ramparts And BastionsView Of Amby ValleyTwo Lakes On TopKoraidevi MandirCannonsDaru Kothar \nDay 0 24th June 202311:00 Meet the team @ Borivali National Park GatePickup points to be notated later \nDay 1 25th June 202302:30 AM: Reach base village and rest in the bus till daybreak05:30 AM: Wake up call and freshen up06:00 AM: Breakfast06:40 AM: With brief instructions start the trek.08:00 AM: Fort Exploration09:45 AM: Start descent11:30 AM: Reach base and have lunch01:30 PM: Start with our return journey05:00 PM: Reach Mumbai tentatively \nInclusions:Transportation by Pushback Private Vehicle.Toll /Permit /Parking /Jungle Entry Fees.Morning Tea & Breakfast Veg / Non-Veg LunchBasic First Aid \nExclusions:Anything which is not mentioned in the inclusionsMineral Water / Cold Drinks \nTrek Measures:◆ Keep emergency numbers handy◆ Wrap all your things in plastic in the haversack◆ Follow existing trails and do not stray away.◆ Equip yourself against pesky insects \nThings To Carry:● At least 2 liters of drinking water● Photo ID card● Some ready-to-eat food (plum cakes\, biscuits)● Poncho / Raincoat● Electoral/Tang powder/Glucose-D/salt● Power banks● Hand sanitizer / Extra Masks● Any personal medicines● Extra clothes to change post the trek● Good grip trekking shoes to avoid any falls or injuries \nRules:● In mountains & jungles\, smoking/spraying deodorants attract honeybees and one has to face a dangerous “honeybee attack” where survival of the person is difficult\, hence smoking/deodorants is strictly prohibited.● Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited. SUMMARY:Tung Fort Monsoon Trek - 10 August 2025
DESCRIPTION:About Tung (Kathingad): \nTung Fort was built before 1600 CE. It was built by the Adil Shahi dynasty but was captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj . It is small\, and not able to hold more than 200 troops at a time. As such\, it would not have been able to defend itself on its own for a long time. Its shape and structure suggest that its main function was as a watchtower guarding the road to Pune city. \nDuring invasion\, it served to provide a temporary distraction for invaders. Thus\, the major forts of Visapur and Lohagad would have time to prepare themselves to meet the invading army. This fort served as a watchtower in the past because from top of the fort\, a lot of area in the Maval region of the Pawana and Mulshi valleys can be seen\, and thus\, from the top of the fort\, a watch on these areas can be kept. In 1657\, it became a part of Swarajya with all other forts situated in Maval region. \nEvent Information:Grade : EasyRegion : LonavalaBase village : TungwadiTrek Duration : 1 hour one wayEvent Fees: Rs 1499 per pax \nHIGHLIGHTS:Pawna LakeBastionsWater CisternsScenic ViewsOld RuinsTungaidevi Temple \nDETAILED ITINERARY: \n05:00 AM : Report at Borivali National Park Gate09:00 AM : Restroom break at food court Lonavala10:30 AM : Reach base village and have breakfast11:00 AM : After brief instructions start with the trek.12:30 PM : Summit the fort and explore01:30 PM : Start descent.02:30 PM : Reach base village and freshen up for lunch03:00 PM : Lunch time04:00 AM : Board the bus towards Mumbai08:00 PM : Reach Borivali National Park \nINCLUSIONS:Transportation by AC Private Pushback BusToll /Permit /Parking Fees.Morning Tea & BreakfastLunch Veg-Non VegTrekking Expertise.Basic First Aid \nEXCLUSIONS:Anything which is not mentioned in the inclusionsCamera ChargesMineral Water / Cold Drinks \nTHINGS TO CARRY:● At least 2-3 liters of drinking water● Torch with extra batteries● Photo ID card● Some ready-to-eat food (plum cakes\, biscuits)● Poncho / Raincoats● Electoral/Tang powder/Glucose-D/salt● Cap\, camera\, mobile phones\, socks\, extra pairs of clothes. SUMMARY:Kille Koraigad - 23 August 2025
\nTrek InformationType: Hill FortHeight: 3000 Feet above MSL (Approx)Grade: Easy ( 1hr Ascend)Base Village: Peth ShahapurEndurance Level: LowPrice Per Pax: Rs 1499 \nHighlightsEasy Trek For KidsIntact Ramparts And BastionsView Of Amby ValleyTwo Lakes On TopKoraidevi MandirCannonsDaru Kothar \nDay 0 11:00 Meet the team @ Borivali National Park GatePickup points to be notated later \nDay 1 02:30 AM: Reach base village and rest in the bus till daybreak05:30 AM: Wake up call and freshen up06:00 AM: Breakfast06:40 AM: With brief instructions start the trek.08:00 AM: Fort Exploration09:45 AM: Start descent11:30 AM: Reach base and have lunch01:30 PM: Start with our return journey05:00 PM: Reach Mumbai tentatively \nInclusions:Transportation by Pushback Private Vehicle.Toll /Permit /Parking /Jungle Entry Fees.Morning Tea & Breakfast Veg / Non-Veg LunchBasic First Aid \nExclusions:Anything which is not mentioned in the inclusionsMineral Water / Cold Drinks \nTrek Measures:◆ Keep emergency numbers handy◆ Wrap all your things in plastic in the haversack◆ Follow existing trails and do not stray away.◆ Equip yourself against pesky insects \nThings To Carry:● At least 2 liters of drinking water● Photo ID card● Some ready-to-eat food (plum cakes\, biscuits)● Poncho / Raincoat● Electoral/Tang powder/Glucose-D/salt● Power banks● Hand sanitizer / Extra Masks● Any personal medicines● Extra clothes to change post the trek● Good grip trekking shoes to avoid any falls or injuries \nRules:● In mountains & jungles\, smoking/spraying deodorants attract honeybees and one has to face a dangerous “honeybee attack” where survival of the person is difficult\, hence smoking/deodorants is strictly prohibited.● Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited. SUMMARY:Kille Visapur Monsoon Trek - 30 August 2025
DESCRIPTION:Overview:Visapur Fort was built between 1713-1720 CE by Balaji Vishwanath\, the first Peshwa of the Maratha Empire. In 1818\, Visapur was attacked and occupied. Considering the strategic importance of Visapur\, both the north (Konkan) and the south (Deccan) gateways were blown up. Except for a few huts\, nothing was left standing. \nThe fort offers a relatively easy to moderate trek\, especially during the rainy season when multiple waterfalls and streams make the experience more enjoyable. The trek is considered suitable for beginners and offers a chance to witness misty landscapes and gushing streams. \nEvent Information:Grade : ModerateRegion : LonavalaBase village : MalavliHighest Altitude : 3556 ft (1084 m)Trek Duration : 6KMS Event Fees: Rs 1499 per pax \nHighlights:Ancient CavesWater CisternsBastionsInnumerable Waterfalls ViewPeshwa Palace RuinsCannons \nDetailed Itinerary:Day 0 30th August 202511:30 PM:	Meet up at Borivali National Park Gate \nDay 1 31st August 202503:30 AM:	Reach base village and rest in the bus05:30 AM: Wake up call and freshen up06:00 AM:	Breakfast06:45 AM:	Basic instructions for the trek and get to know each other07:15 AM:	Start with the trek10:00 AM:	Summit the fort and explore11:30 AM:	Start the descent01:30 PM:	Reach base village and freshen up02:00 PM:	Lunch 03:00 PM:	Board bus for Mumbai08:00 PM: Reach Mumbai (Borivali) \nInclusions:Transportation by AC Private Pushback BusToll /Permit /Parking Fees.Registered Local GuideMorning Tea & BreakfastLunch Veg-Non VegTrekking Expertise.Basic First Aid \nExclusions:Anything which is not mentioned in the inclusionsCamera ChargesMineral Water / Cold Drinks \nThings To Carry:● At least 2-3 liters of drinking water● Torch with extra batteries● Photo ID card● Some ready-to-eat food (plum cakes\, biscuits)● Poncho / Raincoats● Electoral/Tang powder/Glucose-D/salt● Cap\, camera\, mobile phones\, socks\, extra pairs of clothes.
