DESCRIPTION:Anjarle & Velas are villages in Ratnagiri District are one of the popular breeding sites of Olive Ridley Turtles\, which visit anjarle & velas every year & lay their eggs.The festival offers a wonderful opportunity to understand all the life around us and taking steps to conserve it. Documentary will be shown about the life of turtle. \nTo watch baby turtles coming out of eggs & crawling on sand\, heading towards the sea is a lifetime experience.Anjarle is also famous for its clean beach & delicious Konkani food. \nKadyavarcha Ganpati: This temple was originally constructed using wooden pillars in 1150. The idol is right trunked which has commanding view of Suvarndurga Fort and Arabian Sea. \nKanakdurg is approached through flight of few steps. (1 Min) The fort has few water tanks\, two bastions one at each end and a light house on elevated ground. \nBankot: Bankot is a square shaped fort. This was the first residency of the British Raj in Southern Konkan. This is one rarely visited fort. The main entrance (Mahadarwaja) of the fort has a well sculpted arch and carvings. It is situated in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan\, Ranthambore National Park lies at the edge of a plateau and is bounded to the north by the Banas River and to the south by the Chambal River. It is named after the historic Ranthambhore fortress\, which lies within the park. \nRanthambhore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambore became a national park in 1980. In 1984\, the adjacent forests were declared the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary\, and in 1991 the tiger reserve was enlarged to include the Sawai Man Singh and Keladevi sanctuaries. \nRanthambore wildlife sanctuary is known for its tigers and is one of the best places in India to see these animals in their natural jungle habitat.
