A-M-K (Alang\, Madan\, Kulang)\nThis is considered the “Holy Grail” of Sahyadri trekking due to its extreme difficulty and technical nature.\n\n\nThe Trio: Consists of three forts—Alang\, Madangad\, and Kulang—located in the Kalsubai range (Nashik district).\n\n\nHighlights: You will experience vertical rock climbing (around 40–60 ft)\, rappelling\, and traversing narrow ridges.\n\n\nStay: Usually involves camping in caves on Madangad or in tents on the high plateaus.\n\n\nDifficulty: High/Technical. Only recommended for those with good physical stamina and no fear of heights.\n\n\n2. Jivdhan Fort & Vanarlingi Pinnacle\nA historic trek combined with an adrenaline-pumping technical event near Junnar.\n\n\nJivdhan Fort: An ancient hill fortress (3\,757 ft) known for its “Kalyan Darwaza” and intricate rock-cut steps.\n\n\nVanarlingi Pinnacle: A massive 350-400 ft tall rock spire standing next to the fort.\n\n\nActivity: The event features Valley Crossing (ziplining) from the fort to the pinnacle and a massive Rappelling session down the sheer cliff.\n\n\nDifficulty: Moderate trek\, but the activities are high-adrenaline.\n\n\n3. Velas Turtle Festival & Bankot Fort\nA more relaxed\, nature-centric “eco-tourism” trip to the Konkan coast.\n\n\nVelas Beach: Famous for the hatching of Olive Ridley turtles. Visitors head to the beach at sunrise and sunset to watch tiny hatchlings crawl toward the ocean.\n\n\nBankot Fort: A seaside fort with a commanding view of the Savitri River and the Arabian Sea.\n\n\nHarihareshwar: Often called “Dakshin Kashi\,” known for its ancient temple and a beautiful rocky beach “Pradakshina” (circumambulation) route.\n\n\nExperience: Includes authentic Konkani homestay food and ferry rides.\n\n\n4. Bhairavgad Fort (Moroshicha)\nLocated near Malshej Ghat\, this is one of the most thrilling “rock-cut” treks in Maharashtra.\n\n\nHighlights: The trail involves walking on very narrow\, exposed rock-cut steps with a deep valley on one side.\n\n\nActivity: The final ascent to the summit requires technical climbing and rappelling equipment provided by the organizers.\n\n\nView: From the top\, you can see the Naneghat and Jivdhan ranges.\n\n\nDifficulty: Moderate to Hard.\n\n\n5. Sandhan Valley (The Valley of Shadows)\nA unique “water-carved” canyon located near Samrad village (Bhandardara region).\n\n\nThe Experience: It is a 1.5 km long canyon where the walls rise up to 200 ft\, and in some spots\, they are so narrow that sunlight never reaches the floor.\n\n\nActivity: You will trek through the canyon\, wade through chest-deep water pools\, and rappel down multiple rock patches to exit the valley.\n\n\nDifficulty: Moderate. It is a “descend” trek\, meaning you start at a high point and trek downward.\n\n\n6. Lotus Waterfall & Ghangad Fort\nA mix of water adventure and history located in the Ekole Valley (near Lonavala/Tamhini).\n\n\nLotus Waterfall: Also known as Bhorambi Waterfall. It features a massive\, deep pond perfect for Cliff Jumping (with life jackets) and swimming.\n\n\nGhangad Fort: A 3\,000 ft fort that was once used as a prison. It features a recently installed 15-foot iron ladder to help trekkers reach the top.\n\n\nHighlights: The trek goes through dense forests and offers beautiful views of Mulshi Lake backwaters.\n\n\nDifficulty: Moderate.\n\n\nNote: Since the current date is March 23\, 2026\, these events are happening this coming weekend. If you plan to go\, it is recommended to contact the numbers in your image immediately as slots for “A-M-K” and “Sandhan Valley” usually fill up fast.
