After reaching freshen up & get ready for trail. 04:30 AM After a small Introduction round will start our Trail towards Andharban Dark Forest Which is known as Kundalika Valley. 07:00 AM Reach The Open Platue. Take some rest and have our packed breakfast. 02:00 PM Reach Last Water Flow crossing. Here Will enjoy in flow for 30 min. Then will proceed to exit point.03:00 PM Reach our Villager House. Freshen Up and have yummy homemade lunch.  04:30 PM Freshen Up. Board into the  BUS and start our return journey towards Mumbai / Pune.  09:00 PM Reach Khopoli Railway Station / Mumbai & Pune. SUMMARY:Andharban Trek - 7 July 2024
DESCRIPTION:Andharban is a word for a deep\, gloomy forest. The hike route descends completely as it winds down the valley. There are just too many things to explore this trek which is one of the most stunning treks in the Sahyadris. Andharban is at its best this time of year\, during the monsoon season. Being one of the dense evergreen forests\, Andharban is rich with flora and fauna. Some of the rare and endangered fauna is found in this forest. The route is mostly a traverse with crossings of three giant streams. The persistent rains feed these streams constantly\, sometimes making it unsafe to cross. There are two exit points for this trek. One is in Raigad District at Patnus and other one lies in Pune district at Ghutke.
