DESCRIPTION:The highest point in Maharashtra is Kalsubai\, which is located in the Bhandardara region. There are various pathways that go to the peak’s 1646 metres in elevation.The most popular trek begins in Bari Village and takes 4 hours to ascend. The trail is lengthy and easy. On this trail\, there are a number of ladders to climb. A shrine dedicated to the goddess Kalsubai is located on a small plateau near the peak’s summit. According to local history\, a young woman who was employed as a maid at a local landowner’s home became irate over some work that was requested\, climbed the mountain\, and settled here.
