They are alive for only 2 months of the year in India\, May and June. They hatch from their eggs\, become the cool flickering bulbs\, attract a mate\, lay eggs and then die. The eggs then hatch the next may. It’s a mating thing. The male fireflies blink their bum’s silly to attract the female firefly. If you flash a torch on a tree full of fireflies\, they go mad. They must think a big firefly has arrived to steal their ladies…Sandhan valley is Asia’s second largest Canyons in the Sahyadri mountain ranges. It is a very good combination of a canyon and a valley. Located in the Nagar district\, near the famous fort Ratangad\, Sandhan valley is undoubtedly The Valley of Suspense. Walking through the narrow streak of valley with 350 ft rock walls on both the sides is a lifetime experience. Exploring Sandhan valley is always a memorable.Bhandardara is a holiday village on the western ghat of India. The village is located in the Ahmednagar district of the state of Maharashtra.
