DESCRIPTION:Chandrakhani pass trek  \n(Naggar Zipline\, Atal tunnel\, Sissu\, Solan Valley and Manali siteseeing) \nChanderkhani Pass  is a pass located in the Kullu District of India at a height of 3\,660 metres. It forms a way (pass) between the villages of Rumsu and Pulag to the well known village of Malana\, which indirectly forms a trekking route from Naggar to Malana across the Chanderkhani Pass. Mountain peaks of Indrasan\, Deo Tibba\, Pir Panjal Range & Parbati Range are considered holy and can be seen very clearly from the pass. Participants can spend time outside experiencing nature and walking the trails\, while learning how to identify the common Himalayan flora and fauna. Duration: 9 D 8 N Date: 7 May to 15 MayHeight: 12\,010 ftLevel: Easy to ModerateAge group: Open. \nItinerary: Day 1: Pune – Delhi – Manali (Rumsu base camp) Departure to Delhi from Pune. Reach Delhi by afternoon. Board the bus for Manali at 4 or 5 pm. Overnight Journey to Patlikuhal\, 20 kms before Manali.Bus type : Volvo AC semi-sleeperAlternately participants can also take a train 1 day prior from Pune and reach Delhi by afternoon\, and board the bus from there to Manali. \nDay 2: Reporting at Rumsu [Manali] Basecamp (6\,500 ft)Overnight Journey from Delhi to reach Pathlikula early morning & head towards Rumsu which is the base camp.This will be a rest day. Breakfast will be served in the dining hall\, followed by the registration\, documentation and tent/room allocation. An orientation will be given to the participants. Post Lunch a short acclimatization walk to the Pulag Village\, followed by an Ice Breaking session. Dinner and night stay at the base. \nDay 3: Trek to Ghankulhadi Alt. 8\,600 feet Commence the trek by 8 AM for Ghankulhadi after breakfast. The trek route goes through some dense forest\, full of pine\, fir\, oak\, chestnut trees. There is an ascent for the jungle and takes around 4 hours to reach Ghankulhadi. Overnight stay in tents at Ghankulhadi camp \nDay 4: Trek to Naya Tapru\, Alt. 9\,400 feetCommence the trek by 8 AM for Naya Tapru after breakfast. The trek to Naya Tapru from Ghankulhadi goes through some deep forest\, and involves a moderate climb but is short. Naya Tapru presents amazing views of the Manali valley with the famous peaks of Dhauladhar range as its backdrop. Overnight stay in tents at Naya Tapru camp \nDay 5: To The Summit and Back Alt. 12\,000 feet After breakfast all the trekkers will start their trek to Chandrakhani Pass with their packed lunch. Trek commences by 6 AM and has a moderate ascent. It takes around 4 hours to reach the Chandrakhani Pass. The highest point of the pass is 3\,660 meters. Just adjacent to the Chandrakhani Pass lies Dhana Kunnu Pass. The entire place is associated with the famous Jamdagini Rishi\, one of the seven saptarishi. We will then start descending from Chandrakhani for Naya Tapru camp. The descent is easy and takes around 3 hours and involves lot of snow slides. Overnight stay in tents at Naya Tapru camp site. \nDay 6: Descent to basecamp & overnight stay at Rumsu. Alt. 6\,500 feetAfter breakfast all the participants will start their descent for Rumsu base camp. The descent route is the similar as the ascent and takes around 4 hours. Freshen up and Hot lunch at Rumsu base camp on arrival. Evening freshen up and relax at base camp. Night camp fun\, Overnight at Rumsu. \nDay 7: Naggar Castle\, Zipline\, and drive to Sissu via Atul tunnel.After breakfast all participants will board our vehicle and visit Naggar castle\, optional do Zipline (one of the longest) and drive to Sissu village via Atal Tunnel. Sissu is a beautiful village on the other side of Atal tunnel located in Lahul region. Lunch on the way\, evening at leisure at Sissu. Diner and stay in Sissu.  \nDay 8: Solang valley\, Hadimba temple and Manali Drive to Manali\, on the way visit Solang valley\, visit Hadimba temple and time to explore local market in Manali. Members can board their bus from Manali Volvo stand at 5 pm. Overnight journey to Delhi. Depart with beautiful memories. \nDay 9: Delhi Pune travelReach Delhi by morning. Members should book flights post 2 pm just to have enough time in case the bus gets late due to traffic conditions. By evening reach Pune. \nCost: Rs 17500/- pp \nIncludes:Transport: •	Delhi – Manali – Delhi Volvo•	Vehicle from Manali to basecamp•	Transport from Basecamp to Sissu and siteseeing with Manali drop.Accommodation •	Stay will be in tents on triple sharing basis and separate tents will be allotted for Male and Female participants.•	Home stay or Hotel in Sissu for 1 night on 2 or 3 sharing depending on group size. \nRucksack: A 60 litre bag with rain cover is provided for use during the trek.  Members will return it once done with their trek.Backpack Offloading: All members can offload their trekking backpacks on porters/mules. And just carry your rain gear with pack lunch and water.Cloak room: Members can keep their extra luggage at base camp. Camping charges:  All trekking permits and forest camping charges are included. Gaiters: Gaiters help against snow entering from the sides of the shoesTrekking equipment: High quality tents and sleeping bags in all the camps.
