The remnants here are still quite intact. \nRangana Fort/ Prasiddhagad – Is located in the Bhudargad taluka of Kolhapur district. This fort is one of the important forts in the district. This fort is located on the Sahyadri mountain ridge\, on the boundary of Sindhudurg and kolhapur district. \nSamangad – Samangad is located to the South of Kolhapur district. As this fort is located between Vishalgad\, Panhala\, Bhudargad\, Rangana and other forts\, it was used as a supply center. Thus the purpose would have derived its name Samangad\, where “Saman” in local language means “Things”. \nVallabgad – Sankeshwar is a great historical place. A well sculptured Shankarling Math\, very ancient and the founder of this Math is none other than Adya Shankaracharya himself.You can have fun on a fort called Vallabhgad. This fort has got foot-marks of The great legend Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. \n?
