About:

Kalsubai Peak (Marathi: कळसूबाईशिखर) is the highest peak (1646 meters) of the Sahyadris on the border of Igatpuri Taluka, Nashik district and Akole Taluka, of Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, an Indian state.

‘Kalsubai’ temple is located at the topmost peak of Sahyadri mountain range of Maharastra. At the summit there is a small flatportion with a small temple of Kalsubai, a local deity. A traditional prayer (pooja) service is held every Tuesday and Thursday by a local priest. Local villagers sell the pooja materials almost all year long, while sending their cows for grazing.

Itinerary:

We will be leaving by Last Kasara Fast Local on 10th September 2021 (Saturday)

12:15 am: CST

12:23 am: Byculla

12:33 am: Dadar

12:43 am: Kurla

12:49 am: Ghatkopar

01:09 am: Thane

01:32 am: Dombivali

01:43 am: Kalyan

03:00 am: Kasara

03:10 am Meeting @Kasara station, move towards base village Bari by private vehicle.

04:30 am Reach Bari and Rest in Village.

06:00 am Breakfast at base village

06:30 am start our trek to Kalsubai summit.

10:30 am Reach atop, Photography, take rest for some time.

11:00 am start descend to base village.

01:00 pm reach base (Lunch at villager’s home)

02:30 pm start journey to Mumbai

04:30 reach Kasara railway station and take a local to Mumbai

Reach Mumbai approximately 08:00 pm (1 or 2 hours +-)

Includes:

Transportation from Kasara to base village by private vehicle.

Morning breakfast, tea & Lunch.

Travelling from base village to Kasara.

Guide & expertise charges.

Excludes:

Train tickets to Kasara

Any personal expenses

Bunch of Papers, Camera, Cap etc.

Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)

A good trekking shoes, extra pair of floaters.

A haversack to put in all the things to be carried….so that one has ones hands free while trekking.

Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

1. If cancellation done prior to 10 days of outing 75% will be refunded.

2. If done prior to 5 days of outing 50% will be refunded

3. After that no refund will be provided.
