About Event

Nakhind is a beautiful trek in the Western Ghats, located near Vangani in Maharashtra. It is famous for its natural rock formation called the “Needle Hole” or “Eye of the Needle”. The trail offers scenic views of valleys, lush greenery, and surrounding peaks, making it a popular spot for nature lovers and trekkers.

Route : Sarasbag, Deccan, Shivaji Nagar, Nashik Phata, Chinchwad station, Nigdi, Dehuroad, Talegaon​

05.30 am Reporting at pick up points
08.30 am Reach base village Wandre
09.00 am Enjoy the breakfast
09.30 am Start the trek
12.00 pm Reach at Summit point, Enjoy the nature and summit photos
12.30 Pm Return Trek
02.00 Pm Reach to base village
02.30 pm Lunch will be served and relax sometime
03.00 pm Closing ceremony 12th trek
05.30 Pm Hi-tea and snacks
06.30 pm Starts return journey
