What is Rappelling?
A descent from a height, such as a cliff or a wall, in which one slides down an anchored rope and applies friction to control one’s speed using a specialized device. To make the activity safe there are three people involved in this activity-
1) The person on the top holding your line has control over your descent.
2) You have control over the speed of descent.
3) The person waiting below.

About:
Bekre waterfall is close to Bhivpuri station. A short 10 minutes drive from Bhivpuri station takes us to a village from where this waterfall is 30 minutes away. The route to this waterfall is scenic in monsoons with lush greenery around. The trek from the village till the waterfall is very easy and no pre-trek experience is required. Once at the waterfall other than the main rappelling patch you can also spend time in the nearby pools.

Itinerary:
Catch Karjat Slow Train: Starts at CST 04:47 am – Get down at Bhivpuri 07:08 am.
Meeting Point: 07:15 am at Bhivpuri Railway Station.

We will reach Bekre village by auto. Breakfast will be provided at the village.
08:30 am:- Start Trek till the waterfall.
A short hike up the hill takes us to the rappelling point. The day will be spent in rappelling and spending time in the nearby pools and waterfalls.
04:30 pm – Back to Bhivpuri station.

Things to Carry:
1) Id Proof Compulsory.
2) Lunch / Dinner as per schedule.
3) Water Bottle (2 Liters Compulsory).
4) Torch with extra pair of battery.
5) Electoral Powder / Energy bars / Dry Snacks. (dry fruits. biscuits, plum cakes, etc)
6) Good grip quality trekking shoes – Must. (Please check soles of your shoes and get them to stitched if necessary)
7) Personal Medication / First Aid kit.
8) Toiletries (Napkin, face-wash, tissue paper, etc.).
9) Cap, goggles, sunscreen, moisturizer, mosquito repellent, etc. (as per season)
10) Proper Backpack to carry all these things. (No handbags, duffle bag or jholas)
11) Camera. (Optional)
12) Rain-wear (Jacket / Ponchos ) or Winter wear. (Jackets, warmers or sweaters) – (as per season)
13) Carry your glass, bowl, spoon, and plate. (if necessary)
14) Extra Pair of Clothes. (as per schedule)
15) Sleeping bag/mat/bed-sheet. (as per schedule)
16) Slippers. (optional – at the end of day/trek so that your feet can relax)

Cancellation Policy:
1) 75% refund if notified via phone conversation 8 or more days before the event date.
2) 50 % refund if notified via phone conversation 4 to 7 days before the event date.
3) No refund if the cancellation requested is less than 3 days before the event date.
4) No show or changes/cancellation due to bad weather or natural calamity will be non-refundable.
5) The applicable refund will be settled within 7 to 10 business days after the cancellation request is approved.
