About Vasota Fort
Vasota Trek from Pune Mumbai provides you opportunity to trek Vasota Fort, also known as Vajrai Fort, is located in the Sahyadri mountain range in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is situated near the town of Bamnoli, which lies in the Satara district. The fort has a rich history, with its origins dating back to the 12th century. It was originally built by the Marathas and later came under the control of the Mughal Empire and then the British.
Vasota Fort is known for its scenic beauty, standing tall at an altitude of around 1,150 meters (3,773 feet) above sea level. The fort is surrounded by dense forests, making it a popular destination for trekking and nature lovers. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, rivers, and mountains. The fort’s structure includes remnants of its fortifications, temples, and water cisterns.
The trek to Vasota Fort is quite challenging due to the steep ascents and dense forest cover. The route passes through the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of wildlife, including leopards, tigers, and various species of birds. Day 2 : Trek | Camping | Boating
06:00 AM: Begin your day with a hearty breakfast, then head out for the trek.
08:30 AM: Enjoy a peaceful boat ride, taking in the mesmerizing sunrise and the stunning mountain backdrop (1.5-hour boat ride).
10:00 AM: Arrive at the Banmoli base village.
10:30 AM: Begin your trek from the village to Vasota Fort.
12:00 PM: Reach Vasota Fort and start exploring the massive fort structure and its historical significance.
02:00 PM: Take in the views, explore the fort, and relax.
02:30 PM: Enjoy a picnic brunch with a packed lunch, surrounded by nature.
04:00 PM: Begin the return boat journey from Vasota back to Bamnoli.
6.00 PM:Watch the amazing sunset from campsite
7.00 PM :we will be at camping location. Our cozy tents pitched on the banks of koyna will be our home for the night. We’ll then be chilling and playing few Group games like “Antakshari”, dumb charades, and also play “Mafia game” that shall test your intuitions and judgement skills.
9.00pm:Our Authentic Dinner will be ready around . Here you get to taste local food prepared by the Villagers.
11.00pm : Day 2 of Vasota Trek from Pune Mumbai ends here , Camp in tents overnight and enjoy your night

Day 3: Departure to Mumbai Pune
You will get to wake up to the chirping sound of birds and you will have to freshen up by 7.00 am. A beautiful sunrise awaits you. Day 3 of Vasota Trek from Pune Mumbai ends here
Return journey to Mumbai shall commence by 9.00 am.
Lunch will be at a “dhaba” on the Highway.

Cancellation Policy
If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-30 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and in such cases, our service partner will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard-earned money.
