Vasota Fort Jungle Trek & Camping at Koyna Backwater: 19th-20th November:
Vasota Fort (also called Vyaghragad) is located in Satara district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Shivaji Maharaj named the fort “Vyaghragad” (Vyaghra – means tiger), owing to its difficult natural defense. Vasota is the most popular Jungle trek in Maharashtra Located deep within the Koyna Wild Life sanctuary.

Itinerary:
19 November, Saturday:
02.00 pm: Departure from Pune
06.00 pm: Reach Bamnoli.
Have tea and Set up tents.
08.30 pm: Dinner (Veg) at koyna backwater 🏕️
09.30 pm: Camping , Bonfire, Fun Games, Songs, Antakshari
20 November, Sunday:
06.00 am: Wake up call. Freshen up.
06.45 am: Tea & Breakfast.
07.45 am: Start a beautiful 1.5 hour Boat Journey towards Vasota.
09.15 am: Reach Base of Vasota “Met-Indawali”
09.30 am: Introduction & Start a Trek to Vasota fort.
12.15 pm: Reach the Top. Explore the fort.
01.00 pm: Packed Veg Lunch at the Vasota Fort.
02.30 pm: Start Descending.
04.30 pm: Return journey towards Bamnoli by Boat.
05.30 pm: Reach Bamnoli. Evening Tea & Snacks.
06.30 pm: Depart towards Pune with Happy Memories.
11.00 pm: Reach Pune.
(We may come to Pune ONE Hour before or After the given time. Depends on the traffic conditions)
