Vasota Family trek + Camping + Boating

About Event
Vasota is the most popular Jungle trek in Maharashtra. Located deep within the Koyna Wild Life sanctuary, the only way to reach the base of Vasota is by a boat from Tapola or Bamnoli. Vasota is a fort Situated in a dense forest surrounded by a river situated on the banks of the Shivsagar dam.

This is not a basic trek having high elevation

Total time required to reach base: 5.00 hours from Pune

Total time required for climbing: 2 hrs of elevation climb

Friday night leaving from Pune

09.30 PM Reporting at pick up point Nigadi and move towards Chinchwad, Shivaji Nagar, Swarget, Katraj Chowk, Navale Bridge
(time and location need to be selected in the registration form)

Saturday Schedule

02.30 Am Reach the base village & rest in the shared tents

05.30 Am Freshen up and enjoy the breakfast

07.30 Am Reach the boating point and enjoy the boating experience.

09.30 Am Reach at Vasota checkpoint

09.45 Am Start Trek and explored the points & fort

12.30 pm Reach to summit point and enjoy snacks

01.30 pm Start descending

03.30 Pm Reach to boating point and return journey in the boat

04.30 Pm Reach to base village ​& enjoy the Lunch

06.00 Pm Return journey starts for Pune

11.00 pm Reach to Pune
