Kaas Plateau in Panchgani is a magnificent location with vistas dotted with lakes, flowers, and butterflies and was named one of India’s UNESCO World Natural Heritage Sites in 2012. Due to the large variety of indigenous flowers and butterflies, the Kaas Plateau, which is at a high altitude of 1200 meters, is a significant biodiversity hotspot.
