26 July is celebrated every year as the International Day for the Conservation of Mangrove Ecosystem. Mangroves plan an important role in our lives as they prevent floods, purifying the air, reducing heat and nurturing biodiversity.
Unfortunately mangroves are threatened because of various reasons, which is increasing floods, heat and air pollution. Join us and fishing communities on Mangroves Day on Tuesday 26 July 2022, because the survival of Mumbai depends on the protection of its mangroves ! ✊🏽
