Isolated from most of its kinds Salher, Salota, Mulher, Mora and Hargad are five forts in the Baglan range of mountains located in the Western Ghats. Salher and Salota being two indomitable forts with rich history and both separated by a col.
Salher is around 350 Km situated in a wonderful region of Nashik at the border of Maharashtra and Gujrat, Salher takes a pride of the highest fort in Maharashtra and the second highest peak (after Kalasubai). Often considered as a bucket list choice of most trekkers, this peak is a complete endurance test. The Dholbari range in which Salher is situated and Selbari range is the northernmost part of the Sahyadri.

Bus route : NIBM Road kondhwa, Fatima Nagar, Blue Nile Restaurant Camp – Shivaji Nagar – University of Pune , Jagtap dairy chowk – Konkene chowk – exit pune via Nasik Phata.
6 am – Pick-ups start
6:45 am exit Pune city

4:00 pm Reach Salher base village Salherwadi
Briefing Tea and light snacks

Day 2:
Wake up at 5:00 am
Be ready at 5:30 am for briefing tea with biscuits.
Start the trek at 06:00 am
(Trek time 8 hours to cover both forts)
1:00 pm Packed Lunch (Will be served in the cave or where ever suitable)
Post lunch we prepare to head downhill to base village.
Reach base by 3:00 pm
Freshen up and Departure by 3:30 pm

You can leave your bags in the bus during the trek, it will be kept very safe.

We do not provide and encourage carrying any alcoholic drinks or substance; you will be at your own responsibility to leave the trek if found under any influence, without any refund and costs that may occur for your departure.

Historic forts hold pride and valor for those who ruled there and we request you to show some respect by not indulging in any activity that will be disrespectful towards the historic figures and the present community living there.
