🔺 Brief information:
No. of days: 3 days/ 2 nights
Location: Haridwar and Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
Start / Finish point of event: Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
Nearest Town: Rishikesh
Grade: easy to moderate
Max no. of participants: 15 participants per batch

🔺 Brief introduction about RISHIKESH:
Rishikesh is a city in India’s northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. The river is considered holy, and the city is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation. Temples and ashrams (centers for spiritual studies) line the eastern bank around Swarg Ashram, a traffic-free, alcohol-free and vegetarian enclave upstream from Rishikesh town.

🔺 Brief introduction about HARIDWAR:
Haridwar is an ancient city and important Hindu pilgrimage site in North India’s Uttarakhand state, where the River Ganges exits the Himalayan foothills. The largest of several sacred ghats (bathing steps), Har Ki Pauri hosts a nightly Ganga Aarti (riverworshipping ceremony) in which tiny flickering lamps are floated off the steps.
Worshipers fill the city during major festivals including the annual Kanwar Mela.

🔺 Itinerary:
🔸Day 1: Haridwar to Rishikesh to Shivpuri
+ Report at the base camp at Shivpuri on by private vehicle and complete the registration process. And check in at given tent or cottage.
+ Introduction
+ Playing games like volleyball, badminton, cricket etc…
+ Lunch
+ Waterfall Sightseeing, trekking, river trekking and river bathing.
+ Evening Snacks
+ Dinner
+ Bonfire with various group activities.

🔸Day 2: Shivpuri to laxman Jhula
+ 6 am wakeup call
+ Breakfast
+ 8 am ready for 16 km river rafting at Rishikesh.
+ Laxman Jhula, which is end point of river rafting
+ Get set ready for Rishikesh expedition.
+ Night Stay at Rishikesh with great memories of river rafting adventure.

🔸Day 3: Rishikesh to Haridwar
+ Get up and ready for Haridwar expedition
+ Ganga Aarti
+ After few farewell speeches and gossips, participants have lunch and say cheese for a quick photo shoot. Arrangements are made for the checkout.

***Last date to register with advance payment is 1 month before the departure

***Plz book the train/flight tickets and bus tickets accordingly ASAP still available to & fro…

🔺 Exclusion:
• Any Expenses of Personal nature such as Travel and medical insurance, Drinks, laundry, Telephone/Fax, Calls, Additional Porterage or transportation,
• Any additional Expenses caused by reason beyond our control such as Natural Calamities (Land Slides, Floods etc.), any accidents, medical evacuations, riots, strikes, evacuation costs etc.
• Any tips, and any meals apart from the ones mentioned above.
• Any other tax or service charge, stay charge that could be enforced during this period will be extra and need to be borne by you.
• Any service not specifically mentioned in the Includes sections.
• We will have all authority to make any changes and final Decision.

🔺 Required documents for the trip:
Medical certificate stating your fitness & two passports sized photographs are a must for Inner Line Permit.

🔺 Criteria for participation:
Even though minimum age limit to register for the program is 12 years, children less than 18 years of age are accepted for the treks / trips only with a parent’s/guardian’s undertaking.

🔺 Backpacking Checklist:
• Sun protection, cold cream & moisturizer (sunscreen/lip balm/sunglasses)
• One valid Identity Proof, along with a Photocopy preferably Adhar Card
• Insulation (jacket/ personal clothing/ fleece gloves/ hat or cap)
• Illumination (headlamp or flashlight (Plus spare – Extra batteries)
• Personal first-aid kit
• Energy food
• Hydration bag or water bottle
• Bandana or buff
• Rainwear (jacket, pants) (depend on weather)
• Boots or Shoes suited to terrain
• Socks plus spares
• Sandals
• Camera and memory cards – Optional
• Binoculars – Optional
• Notebook and pen or pencil
• Credit/Debit card; small amount of cash
• Earplugs and eye shade – UV Protected or Cat 4
• Toilet paper or tissue paper
• Insect repellant

🔺 RULES & REGULATIONS:
• Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited
• No plastic littering
• Conserve and preserve our heritage
• We reserves all right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without any prior notice
• Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding
• Photographs taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purposes.
• Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety, Jewellery, Cash and baggage

🔺 Terms and Conditions:
• Participant needs to get the personal medicines if any
• All the accommodations will be on sharing basis (3 person) in all the stay locations
• Participants needs to take care of belongings and all the electrical devices, cameras and ornaments. TraWell Amigos will not be responsible for any kind of loss (accidental/ natural)
• Since its a group activity, the group leaders decision will be final and we encourage support from all the participant for the same
• We are visiting to high territory, so any change in itinerary due to incidents such as natural calamities, bad conditions or other issues which is not in our control will be cost effective to all
