A fort, being previous capital of Maratha Empire under Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is very significant in entire Maratha Empire’s history. Located around 60 km to the south-west of Pune, Rajgad fort has many treasures which are used to built and fortify adjacent Torna fort. A strategically valued Rajgad back then also possesses with beautiful scenic constructions and surroundings which can be one of the place where photography enthusiast can enrich their portfolios. Built by the great Maratha warrior Shivaji, the fort has got state of the art design which someone would not wish to miss away.

07:00 AM to 10:00 AM – Start ascending Rajgad Via Chor Darwaja and reach top at Padmavati Machi
10:30 AM to 01:00 PM – Visit Suvela Machi & Nedhe
01:00 PM to 02:00 PM – Back to Padmavati Machi and have Lunch
02:00 PM to 04:00 PM – Rest
04:00 PM to 06.00 PM – Visit Sanjeevani Machi & Enjoy Sunset
06:00PM to 07:00 PM – Back to Padmavati Machi
08:00 PM – 09:00 PM – Dinner
Day 2: 27th Nov – Sunday
05:30 AM – Wake up call
06:00 AM to 08:30 AM – Visit Balekilla, Enjoy Sunrise & Explore Balekilla
08:30 AM to 09:00 AM – Back to Padmavati Machi
09:00 AM – 10:00 AM – Breakfast and Start descending
12:00 PM Back to base and have Lunch
01:00 PM Start return journey
08:00 PM Return Dombivli (tentatively)
