Created in 1955, Tadoba National Park is Maharashtra’s oldest National Park. It is one of India’s 28 Project Tiger reserves. Situated in Chandrapur district, the Tadoba and Andhari range together forming the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR). Along with tigers, Tadoba is home to the Leopard, Sloth Bear, Gaur, Wild Dog, Hyena, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Blue Bull, Four-horned Antelope, and Barking Deer. Tadoba Lake is home to Marsh Crocodile. It is also a birdwatcher’s paradise; one can see a good variety of birds like, White-eyed Buzzard, Stork-billed Kingfisher, and Painted Sandgrouse. Connected to the TATR along the Wainganga river, the Umred-Pauni-Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary is a new Sanctuary established only in 2013. Being a small sanctuary (189 sq.km) it is reported to house 11 tigers and 6 leopards, thus giving an excellent chance of spotting the big cats.

Camp fees: Rs. 32,975/- BNHS members and Rs. 33,475/- others (ex-Nagpur).
Cost includes: Accommodation, meals (B/L/D), transfers from and to Nagpur, permits, and entry to park.
Cost excludes: Flight/rail tickets, all expenses of personal nature like laundry, tips beverages, camera fees, any cost not specified above.
Reporting: Pick up from Nagpur at 09:30 a.m. and drop to Nagpur at 12:30 p.m. on the last day.
