Little about the Fort
Sudhagad, also known as Bhorapgad, is a small hill fort near Pali, Maharashtra. The fort was named Bhorapgad after the Goddess Bhoraidevi. The origin of the fort traces back to the 2nd century BC. It was named Sudhagad after the Marathas conquered it from the Bhamani dynasty in 1657. Shivaji Maharaj considered it to be the capital of the Maratha empire but later decided to choose Raigad over Sudhagad due to its central location.
Sudhagad trek is a short and sweet weekend gateway for trekkers from Mumbai and Pune. The fort is almost equidistant from both the cities. One can see the peaks of Sarasgad, Tail Baila and Ghangad from the top. There are 2 huge lakes at the top where one can take a dip and build a camp for a night’s stay. Apart from that, you can also visit Bhorai Devi temple and “Pant Sachivancha Vada”.

The itinerary for the Trek is as given below:
Meeting point: 06th July,2025 Dreams mall, LBS Road, near Bhandup (w) Railway Station at 06.30 am and move forward towards Pachhapur base village of Sudhagad Fort
10.00 am reach at Pachhapur Village,

10.30 am Morning Breakfast, Round of Introduction, instructions and start the trek.
1.00 pm at the top of Sudhagad
Exploration and lunch
upto 4.00pm to 4.30 pm Descend down towards Base village
06.30 pm Start our return journey to Mumbai
We will be reaching Mumbai by 10.30 pm tentatively

● 2-3 bunch of papers,
● if any medical issue please inform the trek leaders and carry your own medicines as we carry only First aid,

The cost for the trek is Rs 1200/- per head
