Below are the details for the trek :
Kalsubai (Marathi: कळसूबाई शिखर) is a mountain (1646 meters) of the Western Ghats range located in the Indian state of Maharashtra Its summit situated at an elevation of 5400 feet is the highest point in Maharashtra which earns it the much glorified title of the ‘Everest of Maharashtra’.
The mountain range lies within the Kalsubai Harishchandragad Wild-life Sanctuary It is visited throughout the year by avid trekkers, kalsubai temple devotees and wild-life enthusiasts alike.
The truncated summit provides a modest area of flat land which holds a sacred temple of a local deity Local legend[6] says that kalsubai was a house maid residing in a nearby Indorey village She is believed to have disappeared near the mountain while trying to escape her employer’s relentless torment This lends the mountain its current name as well as a reason for this temple to be built in her fond memory.

Date: 08th January 2023
(Departure on Saturday 7th January)

▪️Jagtap dairy – 9.30 PM
▪️Nashik Phata – 9.45 PM
▪️Bhosari – 10.00 PM

Itinerary:
– Depart from Pune 9.00 PM by a Private bus.
– Reach Base Village
– Breakfast and Small introduction
– Start Trek
– Reach the top by early morning
– Halt. Enjoy the pleasure of reaching the highest peak of Sahyadri.
– Wait Still Sunrise
– Start descending Via regular route after experiencing the beautiful sunrise and some lovely pics
– Reach base village
– Have Lunch(Veg/Non-veg) at local home
– Return journey to Pune. Reach Pune by 8:00 PM(+/- 1 hr)

Things to Carry

4. Good trekking shoes (MUST)
5. Head Torch or Normal torch with extra batteries.
6. Head Cap, Camera Personal Care stuff, Medicine those if u require usually.
7. Winter Jacket (MUST)
8. Some ready to eat food, Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.

Cancellation & refund policies
1. 50% advance payment for booking confirmation
2. Cancellation 4 days prior – 75% refund
3. Cancellation 3 days prior – 50% refund
3. Cancellation 2 day prior – 20% refund
4. Cancellation one day prior or No show on trek day – No refund
