Harishchandragad: A hill fort in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, is one of the most challenging treks in the Western Ghats.
The Fort is quiet ancient, with its origin dating back to the sixth century. There are caves situated all over the fort, believed to be carved out in the eleventh century. The various temples and carvings in the caves indicate that the fort belongs to the medieval period, since it is related to Shaiva, Shakta or Naath. Later, the fort was under the control of the Moguls. And by 1747, the Marathas captured it. Harishchandragad is known for it’s famous grand KonkanKada. This fort is always on the list of all trekkers. There are easy, medium and hard paths to climb this fort. The hardest being Nalichi Vaat. This path tests your patience, stamina & endurance.

* Explore Balekilla of Harishchandragad
* Reach Ganesh Caves by 11.30 AM
* We will Have Lunch
* Rest For an Hour
* Visit Harishchandreshwar Temple & Kedareshwar Caves by 3.00 PM
* Head towards Almighty Kokankada
* Reach Kokankada & Witness the beautiful Sunset (Depending On Climate Conditions)
* Return towards caves by 7.30 PM
* Dinner In the Caves

* Start descend Via Bailghat Route towards Base Village at 11.30 AM
