Ratangad was captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhosle and was one of his favorites.
Route Mumbai – Kasara – Igatpuri – Bhandardara – Ratanwadi
Pravara river orginates in Ratangad. The local legend has it that Agatya rishi meditated and performed penance in Ratangad. At that place two drops of ‘Amrut’ was dropped and water started flowing out from Ratangad continuously resulting in the river Pravara hence the name ‘Amrutvahini’

The cost for the trek will be INR 1100 per head. It includes, Transport from Kasara to Kasara by Private Jeep, Breakfast, Evening Tea/Coffee and Guide Charges.

1. If cancelation done prior to 10 days of the trek 75% of the total cost will be refunded.
2. If cancelation done prior to 5 days of the trek 50% will be refunded.
