Secret Waterfall Rappelling & Jungle Trek near Raigad Fort

Rappelling is the technique of descending a waterfall using a rope on the basis of friction that controls the rate of descend.
While dry rappelling is done over cliff faces or small rock faces, waterfall rappelling involves coming down a cliff face or rock face with plenty of water pouring down on you.
You get to the top of the fall, fasten yourself into the safety of a harness, rope up and stand over the edge of the fall and start descending.

ITINERARY:
Day 1 – Saturday – 09th July 2022
10:00 pm – Meet Shiledar Team @ Dadar / Pune
10:30 pm – Start journey toward event base village

Day 2 – Sunday – 10th July 2022
04:00 am – Reach base village rest in Bus
06:00 am – Wake Up Call and freshen up
07:00 am – Start trekking after a brief introduction
09:00 am – Reach at Waterfall & start waterfall rappelling activity one by one.
02:00 pm – Lunch will be served at base village
04:00 pm – Start the journey back to Mumbai / Pune
08:30 pm – Reach Mumbai / Pune tentatively

EXCLUSIONS:

THINGS TO CARRY:
● At least 2-3 ltrs of drinking water
● Torch with extra batteries
● Photo ID card
● Some ready to eat food (plum cakes, biscuits)
● Jackets/Raincoat
● Electoral/Tang powder/Glucose-D/salt
● Cap, camera, mobiles phones, socks, extra pairs of clothes. (if required) bedsheet/blanket
● Any personal medicines

RULES:
● In mountains & jungles, smoking/spraying deos attracts honeybees and one has to face a dangerous “honeybee attack” where survival of the person is difficult, hence smoking/deodorants is strictly prohibited.
● Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited. If found will be expelled from the group.
● The leader’s decision will be final and binding.
● Shiledar Team reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.
● Telephonic confirmation for booking is mandatory; if unable to contact us then send a text message and we will call you back.
● Please do not carry handbags or jholas or sling bags on treks.

REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS:
● If cancellation is done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
● If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded.
● After that, no refund will be provided.
● If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants have the option to adjust the paid amount with any forthcoming event or ask for a complete refund.
