Thal Fort
Located near Alibaug, Thal Fort (also known as Revdanda Fort) is a small coastal fort built to guard the nearby port and coastline. Though now in ruins, it offers scenic views of the Arabian Sea and the surrounding village, making it a peaceful spot for exploration and photography.

Khanderi Fort (Kanhoji Angre Island Fort)
Situated about 3 km off the Alibaug coast, Khanderi Fort was built by the Marathas in the 17th century under Shivaji Maharaj’s rule to control sea routes. The fort features old cannons, a lighthouse, and remnants of Maratha architecture. It played a key role in the naval history of the Konkan coast.

Underi Fort
Located close to Khanderi, Underi Fort (also known as Jaidurg) was built by the Siddis to counter the Maratha stronghold at Khanderi. The fort is smaller but well-built, with stone walls, bastions, and steps leading down to the sea. It reflects the strategic rivalry between the Marathas and Siddis during coastal rule.
