Ratangad as the name suggests Ratan (means Jewels). Ratangad is also called the Jewel of the forts. The fort is 400 years old. Ratangad is located on the boundary of Ahmednagar district and Thane district. Ratangad was among the personal favorite forts of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It overlooks the banks of Bhandardara dam.

06:00 AM – Start hiking towards Ratangad post introduction session.
09:00 AM – Reach top of the fort and explore.
10:00 AM – Start to descend
12:30 PM – Reach base village
01:00 PM – Have a lunch
02:00 PM – Start return journey towards Kasara station
06:00 PM – Reach Kasara and leave for Mumbai with good memories
