Peth is situated in Karjat, Raigad district. Height of this fort is 3100 ft above sea level. This fort is also known as Kothaligad.
About Peth Fort:
This fort is very small in size but was used as an ammunition storage and defense station during Sambhaji Maharaj’s era. This fort is surrounded with other forts like Bhimashankar, Rajmachi, Dhak, Sidhhagad and Prabalgad

Bhairoba Cave. This cave is well-sculpted and accommodate 30 to 40 people

Trek Schedule:
All Participants to take Khopoli Train (Fast) on 9th July (Saturday night) at 9:58 pm from CSMT.
Get Down at Karjat @ 11:56 pm. We will take rickshaw from Karjat and reach at base village of Peth (Ambivali) in the night by 1 am
Will start our trek at 6:30 am & reach the caves on the top by 9:30 am
Take rest in the caves till 10 am
Get to the top of the fort by 10:30 am
Watch fort & surrounding area and start descending by 12 noon
Get down at Ambivali village by 2 pm
Post lunch, move towards Karjat station
We will reach Karjat station by 6 pm
• Contribution per person is Rs. 1000/-
