About Pench:
Pench Tiger Reserve is a renowned wildlife sanctuary located in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, India. Spread across the Satpura hills, it is named after the Pench River, which flows through the park. The reserve is famous for its rich biodiversity, including Bengal tigers, leopards, wild dogs, deer, and over 250 species of birds. It inspired Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book and offers excellent wildlife sightings through jeep safaris. The park’s lush forests, grasslands, and riverine habitats make it a prime destination for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: FRIDAY: Arrival & First Safari
• Pickup from Nagpur between 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM in an Innova for a comfortable transfer to a forest resort near Sillari Gate (Pench Tiger Reserve).
• Check-in and freshen up at the resort.
• Lunch at the resort and leisure time before the first safari.
• Jungle Safari: Departure at 2:30 PM (Sillari Zone) for the first wildlife safari experience.
• Return to the resort in the evening.
• Interactive session over dinner, sharing wildlife experiences and photography discussions.
• Overnight stay at the forest resort.
Day 2: SATURDAY: Two Safari Experiences
• Early Morning Safari: Departure at 5:30 AM (Khursapar Zone) with a packed breakfast.
• Return to the resort by 11:00 AM and relax.
• Lunch at the resort followed by some rest.
• Afternoon Safari: Departure at 2:30 PM (Sillari Zone) for another exciting wildlife safari.
• Return to the resort in the evening.
• Bonfire (subject to weather) & interactive session over dinner, discussing the day’s sightings and experiences.
• Overnight stay at the forest resort.

Day 3: SUNDAY: Final Safari & Departure
• Early Morning Safari: Departure at 5:30 AM (Khursapar Zone) with packed breakfast.
• Return to the resort by 11:00 AM, freshen up, and relax.
• Check-out from the resort.
• Drive back to Nagpur, concluding the tour.
• Lunch on the way (self-expense).
