Paithalmala is a hill station in the Kannur district of Kerala in India. Located near Pottenplave village, at a height of 1372 m above sea level, this is the highest geographic peak in Kannur. It is located at 40 km from Taliparamba and 65 km from Kannur. Nestled in the Kerala Karnataka border near to Kodagu forests, it lies in the Western Ghats. It has become a favourite spot for the nature enthusiasts, photographers, trekkers and leisurely visitors.

We are leaving on Friday night at 9:00 PM and Returning on Sunday night

Trip Cost: Rs 3700/- ( Costs will be shared equally by participants and any excess amount will be refunded)

Terrain: Forest canopy and Grasslands
Pickup & Drop Points: Majestic (Shanthala silks) and Kengeri Bus Stand

Itinerary: Detailed Itinerary will be shared to shortlisted participants separately

Who can join:
Literally anybody who can walk 5-6 kms a day can join and also fully vaccinated.

Payment:
No advance amount needed for registration. The amount will be collected from shortlisted participants only after the shortlist is announced.

Note:
1. We strictly follow “Do Not Litter” policy. If possible we will pick up already existing garbage from the nature.
2. We are non-profit volunteering group so please do not expect any luxury during the event.
3. Basic necessities will be taken care by the organizer. We expect you to be flexible enough during the event.
4. Intrepid Trekkers and its organizers are not responsible for any accidents or injuries, loss or damage to your personal belongings or any other uncertainties during the event.
