The peaceful boat ride takes you to the island Met-Indavali was the trek start from. ◼10:30 PM Start journey from Sarasbaug towards Vasota.
*Day 1 – 12-Jan-25*
◼02:00 AM: Reach Vasota base village, Bamnoli, and settle at lakeside camping.
◼ 02:30 AM: Sleep in specially organized tents.
◼ 05:30 AM: Wake-up call. Freshen up using private toilet facilities available at the campsite.
◼ 07:00 AM: Have breakfast and start the boat journey towards Vasota.
◼ 08:00 AM: Arrive at Vasota base, Met Indawali. Complete jungle entry formalities at the forest department check post and begin the trek to Vasota Fort.
◼ 11:00 AM: Reach the fort summit. Begin sightseeing and visit ancient landmarks.
◼ 01:00 PM: Enjoy a packed lunch after exploring the fort.
◼ 02:00 PM: Begin descending the fort.
◼ 04:00 PM: Reach the base (Met Indawali) and take a boat back to Bamnoli.
◼ 05:30 PM: Arrive at the campsite and enjoy refreshing tea.
◼ 08:00 PM: Have dinner at Satara.
◼ 08:30 PM: Depart for Pune by bus.
◼ 11:30 PM: Reach Pune.
