Midnight Cycling & Storytelling – The Kimayagar of Mumbai

This midnight cycling tour has been featured in the NETFLIX series “Midnight Asia” as the top midnight experience to have in Mumbai.

This cycling tour will transcend you to the time when Bombay was a quaint little town under the British Raj. Our story traces the life-journey of a young Gujarati boy who came to Bombay to make a living, but his destiny had something else planned. From being one of the richest businessmen in Bombay to becoming the most hated man, his life was nothing less than an adventure. They called him “Kimayagar” or a magician who could make money out of anything, who turned this dusty old town into a paradise city. Bombay became an unparalleled Maya Nagari. In this midnight adventure, we will unravel a new side of Colaba and some of its iconic structures and how the “hero” of our story played a key role in their making. We end the story with an interesting story-tour-quiz and the winning team gets a special souvenir from “The Legend of Bombay Bards”.

We have also added tandem cycles ( for two people ) in our tour. Cost : Rs.2999 for 2 participants.

Priyank belongs to the era when you became an engineer first, then took a management degree and then joined the corporate rat race. Well, they did just that, till the time they realized that their hearts wanted something more. TLBB is a Travel-Story-Telling Company which is dedicated to spreading the love for travel & history through stories of soil & souls.

Regarding the Midnight Storytelling Session:

Please assemble at the following address at 09:30 PM.

“Happy Cycles” Next to Kailash Parbat Hotel.

Things to wear:

1) Comfortable clothing appropriate for cycling

2) Sport shoes

Things to be carried by you:

Original Photo ID (Mandatory)

Two Litres of water & ready to eat Snacks.

A small backpack (to carry water, snacks, etc.).

Electral powder / Glucon D / Tang

Any personal medicines as required.

Itinerary

10:00 PM – We meet and greet at Happy Cycles, Colaba. A short introduction to the story & the Storytellers and we proceed to pick our cycles.

10:15 PM – We start our Midnight Storytelling & Cycling Tour.

1:00 AM – We end our tour with a TLBB MegaQuiz. The winning team gets a special souvenir from the Legend of Bombay Bards.

Terms :

Tickets once booked are non-refundable.

Re-schedule cost is Rs.300 per participant.

On the spot bookings are subject to availability of the cycles.

We expect the participants to know basic cycling

While choosing the cycle, the participant should check the condition & fitness of the cycle before commencing the ride

Children participating should be 7 years + and should know cycling

You understand and accept that TLBB advises the wearing of cycle helmets at all times when riding.

Participants must not cycle under the influence of alcohol, strong medication, other drugs or fatigue.

Participants are requested to eat a healthy meal and not consume alcohol to avoid dehydration.

Please avoid wearing Gold and other jewelry.

A planned activity or programs may be cancelled or revised depending on the weather or any other unavoidable circumstances

TLBB will not be responsible for any physical harm during the activity. You are advised to follow the instructions of the coordinator to avoid any such incidents.

Cycles are the participants responsibility and any damage for whatever reason will be paid for by the participant
