Trek Route – Mashidwadi – Mangad – Kumbhe Waterfall – Kelachi Nal – Karmar – Savrat – Sandoshi – Amdoshi – Raigad Wadi – Raigad

“Fort Mangad” – is a survey fort which is situated in Borwadi, an area near Mashidwadi in Mangaon, Raigad. The fort is made sacred by the footsteps of the founder of Hindavi Swaraj, the famous Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja.

“Kumbhe Waterfall”- Called kundalika Waterfall is main attraction in Kumbhe, its water discharge is from 178 feet of height and is awesome and picturesque for photographer.

“Kumbhe Tunnel” – Tunnel is 200mtrs long and really awesome to ride to kundalika waterfall.

“Raigad Fort” – This weekend lets witness the glorious Maratha kingdom and admire the majestic Fort where the King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj lived. Some of the major attractions of Raigad Fort are the Hirakani Buruj, Maha Darwaja, the King’s Durbar, Takmak Tok, Jagdishwar Mandir etc.

ITINERARY:

Day 0 – Saturday – 13 August 2021

09:00 pm – Meet Shiledar Team @ Dadar / Pune

(Own Travel Members Meet Shiledar Team at Mashidwadi, Mangad fort base village)

Day 2 – Sunday – 14 August 2022

03:00 am – Reach base village Mashidwadi, Mangad base village & rest in Bus

05:30 am – Wake Up Call and freshen up

06:30 am – Start trek after a brief introduction, Ascend Mangad fort & explore

09:00 am to 12:00 pm – Start Trek towards Kumbhe waterfall, enjoying the beautiful Kumbhe Waterfall.

12:00 pm – Descend Kelachi Nal and reach karmar village. Take rest.

02:00 – Trek start towards Sandoshi village

05:00 pm – Reach Gavdevi Temple Sandoshi village & Visit Virgal Smarak at Sandoshi.

07:30 pm – Diner will be served

09:00 pm – Introduction & Trek Discussion

10:00 pm – Good Night

Day 3 – Monday – 15 August 2022

05:00 am – Wake Up Call and freshen up

06:30 am – Start trek after a brief introduction towards Raigad

Route –
Sandoshi – Amdoshi – Raigadwadi – Raigad

09:30 am – Reach Raigad Base and start Ascend Raigad fort via Nane Darwaja

11:00 am To 01:00 pm explore Raigad

01:00 pm – Descend Raigad via Valusare Khind – Hirkaniwadi

02:00 pm – Lunch will be served at base village Hirkaniwadi

05:00 pm – Start the journey back to Mumbai / Pune with beautiful historical range trek memories.

10:00 pm – Reach Mumbai / Pune tentatively

🎒 Things to be carried:

– Photo ID card
– Carry a sufficient amount of sanitizer, masks, gloves, and a personal medical kit (MUST)
– Carry a personal set of utensils like spoon, plates, and cups/mugs. (MUST)
– 2 litters of water & ORS (Must), Electoral/Tang powder/Glucose-D/Salt
– Carry Some ready to eat food (plum cakes, biscuits fruits, dry fruits to munch on during trek and to avoid dehydration.)
– Torch with extra batteries (Must)
– Full sleeve T-shirts and full pant. For girl’s full neck t-shirt. Cap, camera, mobiles phones, socks, extra pairs of clothes.
– Jackets/Raincoat
– Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes (Must)
– Carry 3-4 extra carry-bags
– Packs things properly to protect from rain
– Warm cloths, Bedding / Shawl / bed-sheets sleeping bag (for rest)
– Camera, Cap etc. (Optional)
– Electrolyte packets as energy drinks (optional)
– Good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks (Must)
– A haversack to put in all the things.
– Good to have stick for support.

RULES:
● In mountains & jungles, smoking/spraying deos attracts honeybees and one has to face a dangerous “honeybee attack” where survival of the person is difficult, hence smoking/deodorants is strictly prohibited.
● Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited. If found will be expelled from the group.
● The leader’s decision will be final and binding.
● Shiledar Team reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.
● Telephonic confirmation for booking is mandatory; if unable to contact us then send a text message and we will call you back.
● Please do not carry handbags or jholas or sling bags on treks.

REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS:

● If cancellation is done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
● If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded.
● After that, no refund will be provided.
● If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants have the option to adjust the paid amount with any forthcoming event or ask for a complete refund.
