🔺 ABOUT –

Radtondi Ghat –
Radtondi Ghat is known for Afzal Khan’s descent from the Deccan plateau to Konkan on the way to the mighty “Pratapgad”.
Radtondi Ghat starts at village Met-Tale and ends at village Par. Once the route was a well-developed route at the time when it was under use. Big pathway, gravel and clay as pavement, jungle to provide shade and gradual slope, in and all a nicely constructed route.
The pathway was so wide that at least 4 horses or 4 bulls or 2 bullock carts could pass each other at one time, leaving no room for doubt that Afzal Khan could descend this route sitting in a palanquin.

Pratapgad –
Pratapgad (also transcribed Pratapgarh or Pratapgad) literally ‘Valour Fort is a large fort located in Satara district, in the Western Indian state of Maharashtra. Significant as the site of the Battle of Pratapgad, the fort is now a popular tourist destination. This is a relatively easy trek. There are just 450 steps you would need to cover to get to the top of the fort. The trek is not challenging and even novice trekkers should be able to complete it easily.

🔺 ITINERARY:

Day 1 – 01 Oct 2022

09:30 pm – Meet Shiledar Team @ Pritam Da Dhaba Dadar(E) Mumbai / Laxminarayan Theatre Pune

10:00 pm – Depart to Mahabaleshwar

Day 2 – 02 Oct 2022

04:00 am – Reach Mahabaleshwar & Rest in Bus

05:00 am – Wake up call, refreshment. Have Breakfast & Tea

06:00 am – Our Trek Leaders will provide pre-trek information and instructions to all participants.

06:30 am – After Briefing, Immediately start the trek towards Sunset / Bombay Point.

07:00 am – Descend Radtondi Ghat through the dense forest of Jaoli.

10:00 am – Reach Par village. In between, you can witness the bridge built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

11:00 am – start our trek towards the Pratapgad.
You can visit one of the ancient temples, “Shri Ramvardayini”.

01:00 pm – Reach Pratapgad Lunch will be Served. (Hot and tasty local vegetarian food)

02:00 pm – Explore Pratapgad

04:00 pm – Return journey with very pleasant memories.

10:00 pm – Reach Mumbai – Pune approx. now it’s time to say goodbye to your travel companion. Let’s keep in touch via phone / social media and meet again on another memorable trip.

🔺 RULES/NOTE:

▪︎Smoking Cigarette, Chewing Tobacco & Consuming Alcohol Is Strictly Prohibited During the Trek. If found will be expelled from the group.
▪︎Do not shout and make noise during the trek and carry your waste with you without throwing it elsewhere.
▪︎Trekking is an adventure game. If you are injured or have an accident during this period, you responsible for yourself. Organizers will not be responsible for this.
▪︎This is an adventure activity where we will go to a village in mountain area and stay there and eat local food. So please don’t expect luxury and absolute comforts.
▪︎The leader’s decision will be final and binding.
▪︎Shiledar Team reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.
▪︎Telephonic confirmation for booking is mandatory; if unable to contact us then send a text message and we will call you back.

🔺 REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS:

▪︎If cancellation is done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
▪︎If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded.
▪︎After that, no refund will be provided.
▪︎If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants have the option to adjust the paid amount with any forthcoming event or ask for a complete refund.
