Shivdurga Mitra Lonavala is thrilled to announce the 1st edition of Lonavala Bouldering Championship 2023 – India’s only hill-station location to organize the biggest sport climbing bouldering championship from 29th Apr – 30th Apr 2023 under
the aegis of the Sport Climbing Federation of India& Sport Climbing Association of Maharashtra.
Shivdurga Mitra is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) based in Lonavala, Maharashtra, India. Our preliminary
The motive is to promote Sport Climbing and Mountaineering activities such as Rock Climbing, Highline & Slackline on a grass root level at free of
cost basis. We are proud to tell you that we have been conducting various Rescue/ Recovery operations throughout
the mighty Sahyadris/ Western Ghats for free considering the human life value for the last 15 years.
The main aspect of the bouldering championship is to provide the best experience to the athletes & prepare them for the National Championship held in India. To get a better sport climbing experience, we have also established an international
standard bouldering wall facility at our premises. The ultimate goal is to promote students to national as well as
Olympic games and achieve great success in the field by winning the tournaments held worldwide.
*AGE CATEGORY
 Kids – 6 to 9 Years (Athletes born between 2014 to 2017)
Sub- Junior Boys & Girls -10 to 13 years (Athletes born in 2010 to 2013)
Junior Boys & Girls– 14 to 16 years (Athletes born in 2007 to 2009)
 Open Boys & Girls – 17 years onwards (Athletes born in 2006 or before)
