Trek to Kurdugad in Raigad district, This fort was a watchtower for the trade routes towards Konkan coastal region, also known as Vishramgad. The fort. The fort was built during the reign of Shivaji Maharaj, The Peshawas took the control of Kurdugad fort but lost its importance during the British rule. The fort was later brought into restoration by Dattoba Pasalkar, a descendant of Baji Pasalkar.

We start the trek early in the morning from the Umbardi village, hiking through the plains and then gradually ascending towards the plateau where a hamlet is named pethwadi. Over here we come across a Kurdai temple and then the steep ascent to the fort. Upon reaching the fort there are rock-cut stairs and traverse towards Bastion named Hanuman Buruj, later proceed towards Needhe which is the main attraction of this fort. On the trail, we also come across a very massive groove which is very fascinating.
