Kille Surgad Monsoon Trek

*Overview*
_Surgad Fort Trek is located in Ghera surgad village in Raigad district near Roha. It is strategically located in a spur, fragmented from the Sahyadri mountains of Maharashtra. The fort was built by the Shilahar kings and the Nizam of Ahmednagar looked after the fort later on. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj reconstructed and restored the fort. The fort was captured by Shankarji Narayan from the Siddhi of Janjira during the Rajaram regime._

_Surgad has water tanks, ancient temples and buildings and is historically associated with Chatrapati Shivaji. Surgad top offers great views of the meandering Kundalika river as it originates from Tamhini Ghat and finds it way to the sea at Roha. Surgad Fort trek is a soft trek and suited for any individual with basic fitness.

Day 1 14th September 2025
05:00 AM: Meet up at Borivali National Park Gate
(Pickup Points To Be Notated Later)
09:15 AM: Reach base village and have breakfast
10:30 AM: Start with the trek post basic set of instructions
11:30 AM: Summit the fort and explore
12:30 PM: Start the descent
01:30 PM: Reach base village and freshen up
01:45 PM: Lunch
03:00 PM: Board bus for Mumbai
07:30 PM: Reach Mumbai

*Important Rules*
● In mountains & jungles, smoking/spraying deodorants attract honeybees and one has to face a dangerous “honeybee attack” where survival of the person is difficult, hence smoking/deodorants is strictly prohibited.
● Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited. If found will be expelled from the group.
● The leader’s decision will be final and binding.
● Sahasi Sahyadri reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.
● Telephonic confirmation for booking is mandatory; if unable to contact us then send a text message and we will call you back.
● Please do not carry handbags or jholas or sling bags on treks.
● Please do not carry or wear any valuables, ornaments, jewelry, etc. If carried, then we do not take any liability for the same.
● Trekking Shoes (Action Trekking or Coaster CTR Shoes are recommended, Avoid Forclaz/Quechua/Running/Other Sports Shoes for Treks in Maharashtra)

*Refunds OR Cancellations*
● If cancellation is done prior to 7 days of the outing 75% will be refunded.
● If done prior to 3 days of outing 30% will be refunded.
● After that, no refund will be provided.
● If the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants have the option to adjust the paid amount with any forthcoming event or ask for a complete refund.
