Kille Ratangad Monsoon Trek

*Overview*
_Ratangad trek is an easy to moderate level trek. It takes around 4-5 hours to reach the Ratangad fort. You will have a stimulating trekking experience. Ratangad means Jewel Fort, and it surely justfies it’s name. Ratangad can be trekked from Samrad and Ratanwadi villages, both village are famous one for the famous Sandhan Valley and another for the ancient Amruteshwar Temple. The trek has a lot to offer, starting from scenic traverse and rock cut stairs from Samrad route

Day 0 6th September 2025

11:30 PM: Meet up at Borivali National Park Gate

Day 1 7th September 2025

04:30 AM: Reach base village and rest in the bus
05:30 AM: Wake up call and freshen up
06:00 AM: Breakfast
06:45 AM: Basic instructions for the trek and get to know each other
07:15 AM: Start with the trek
10:00 AM: Summit the fort and explore
11:30 AM: Start the descent
01:30 PM: Reach base village and freshen up
02:00 PM: Lunch
03:00 PM: Board bus for Mumbai
08:00 PM: Reach Mumbai (Borivali)

*Things To Carry*
● At least 2-3 liters of drinking water
● Torch with extra batteries

● Cap, camera, mobile phones, socks, extra pairs of clothes. (if required)
● Any personal medicines

*Important Rules*
● In mountains & jungles, smoking/spraying deodorants attract honeybees and one has to face a dangerous “honeybee attack” where survival of the person is difficult, hence smoking/deodorants is strictly prohibited.
● Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited. If found will be expelled from the group.
● The leader’s decision will be final and binding.
● Sahasi Sahyadri reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.
● Telephonic confirmation for booking is mandatory; if unable to contact us then send a text message and we will call you back.
● Please do not carry handbags or jholas or sling bags on treks.
● Please do not carry or wear any valuables, ornaments, jewelry, etc. If carried, then we do not take any liability for the same.
● Trekking Shoes (Action Trekking or Coaster CTR Shoes are recommended, Avoid Forclaz/Quechua/Running/Other Sports Shoes for Treks in Maharashtra)

*Refunds OR Cancellations*
● If cancellation is done prior to 7 days of the outing 75% will be refunded.
● If done prior to 3 days of outing 30% will be refunded.
● After that, no refund will be provided.
● If the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants have the option to adjust the paid amount with any forthcoming event or ask for a complete refund.
