About:-
This fort is an important fort in the Palghar district. This fort was built by the Bhojraja of the Shilahara dynasty.This fort is about 800 years old. This fort was the northern boundary of Portuguese territory and it was further won by Portuguese rulers in 1556 and was strengthened during their reign. In the 17th century, Mughals gained control of the Asheri fort but it was immediately taken back by the Portuguese. . You can see some relics of Portuguese origin while on the trek. After that, during the Battle of Vasai, the prince of Peshwa rulers – Chimaji Appa (younger brother of Bajirao Peshwa) captured it in 1739 from the Portuguese. In 1818 Captain Dickinson captured this fort and thus it went into the hands of the British.

05:00 AM: Report at Kotak Mahindra Bank ATM (Dadar East)
Reporting time for pick up from Malad, Goregaon, Andheri, Borivali, Virar Phata would be between 5:30AM – 6:30 AM anywhere on the highway.
07:00 AM: Breakfast en route
09:00 AM: Reach base village, group introduction, and instructions for the trek.
11:00 AM: Summit the fort and explore it.
12:30 AM: Start descending to base village by the same route
02:00 PM: Reach base village, get on the bus as we head to our vendor for a delicious veg/non-veg lunch
04:00 PM: Board bus for Mumbai with tea/coffee halt/washroom break en route
07:00 PM: Reach Mumbai tentatively.

Rules & Regulations
● In mountains & jungles, smoking/spraying deodorants attract honeybees and one has to face a dangerous “honeybee attack” where survival of the person is difficult, hence smoking/deodorants is strictly prohibited.
● Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited. If found will be expelled from the group.
● The leader’s decision will be final and binding.
● Sahasi Sahyadri reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.
● Telephonic confirmation for booking is mandatory; if unable to contact us then send a text message and we will call you back.
● Please do not carry handbags or jholas or sling bags on treks.
● Please do not carry or wear any valuables, ornaments, jewelry, etc. If carried, then we do not take any liability for the same.
● Trekking Shoes (Action Trekking or Coaster CTR Shoes are recommended, Avoid Forclaz/Quechua/Running/Other Sports Shoes for Treks in Maharashtra)
Refunds Or Cancellations
● If cancellation is done prior to 7 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
● If done prior to 3 days of outing 30% will be refunded.
● After that, no refund will be provided.
● If the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants have the option to adjust the paid amount with any forthcoming event or ask for a complete refund.
