Kerala trip: Athirapally and Munnar

Athirapally is the largest waterfall in Kerala with a height of ‎82 feet and width of 330 feet. It is part of the Chalakudy river and originates from the Sholayar ranges. It is best visited during monsoon to witness the peak flow.
Munnar is a hill station in the Western Ghats of Kerala. It’s surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations. In monsoon, many waterfalls line up the valleys of Munnar.

Saturday, 16th Sept
Flight from Mumbai (or other cities) to reach Cochin in morning
Travel to Athirapally. Check-in to our beautiful riverside resort in the Sholayar range forests.
After lunch, we will visit the mighty falls which was filmed in the movie ‘Bahubali’

Sunday, 17th Sept
We can take an early morning stroll on the riverside forests. After breakfast we travel from the forests of Athirapally to the tea gardens of Munnar. We will taste one of the best teas of India.
Overnight near Tea Gardens in a resort.

Monday, 18th Sept
Munnar sightseeing day:
– Carmelgiri Botanical Garden
– Mattupetty Lake
– Kundala Lake
– Top Station
– Tea Factory
– Lots of photo points in between

Tuesday, 19th Sept
– Zipline at Ripple Adventures
– Splash in the Ripple Waterfalls
– Ponmudi Dam
From 5pm to 7pm, we will visit Kalari Kshethra, which is considered a temple of Kerala traditions.
Later, we will have a dedicated hour for shopping for home-made chocolates, tea, spices, medicinal oils, incense sticks etc.

Wednesday, 20th Sept
Travel from Munnar to Cochin. Return Flight

Fees: Rs.15,900 (excluding train/flight)
For trip booking you need to pay Rs.7,900 non-refundable advance + train/flight cost (if you want us to book tickets)

Basic fee Includes:
– Travel from Cochin onwards (4 days)
– All food and refreshments from Cochin onwards
– Accommodation for 4 nights in offbeat resorts (twin or triple)
– Entry Charges at sightseeing places

Basic fee Excludes:
– Train/flight tickets to Cochin
– Adventure sports
– Bottled water/drinks during trip
– Anything not mentioned in ‘Includes’
